Star Wars: Comics In Canon - Ep 49: Darth Vader Vs Beilert Valance, Dengar & Bounty Hunters (Target Vader)

This week, Mike tackles the 6-part mini-series Target Vader, where a group of bounty hunters are hired by the mysterious Hidden Hand to take down Darth Vader! In addition to some very cool Vader moments, a bounty hunter team (including Dengar) is put together, the rebellion gets involved and Beilert Valance gets his full back-story flushed out, including his homeworld Chorin! This story is set after A New Hope and before Empire Strikes Back so is between 0-3 ABY. All issues of Target Vader were written by Robbie Thompson. The many artists were; Marc Laming, Cris Bolson, Stefano Landini, Marco Failla, Roberto Di Salvo and Georges Duarte. The many colour artists were; Neeraj Menon, Rachelle Roseberg, Jordan Boyd, Andres Mossa, Federico Blee, Erick Arciniega and Giada Marchisio. Issue 1 was released July 2019, 6 was released December 2019 and the trade paperback was released February 2020.
