We're back on this Star Wars podcast, they were celebrating, but before we get into all that, how you doing today? Nice seeing you again. Nice seeing you too. I'm doing fine.

I'll say like a rough week. I think I got work. Nothing back going on just a lot of work. Rough month or rough year in the real world.

Yeah, but hey, whatever. I mean, I'll show you. I'm here for that country I'll be moving to in a couple of months. Yeah, right.

Because one thing I know of import a weekend, of course, part of the colony and all that stuff, but you're just coming right into it, man. At the worst possible time, you're just voluntarily moving to the state. So I think it's just two years. Oh, well, let's see how we're doing as a country in two years.

Anyway, it's our mission. I know. I mentioned it's on our intro site, 10 season of Greater Relive 5 years. We're 7 to 5 years of the show, and you've been here for almost 3, so thank you for doing here for Lei Chet.

I want to make sure it was funny enough. It was in May of 2022, and we're talking about celebration in London, what to expect. Today, we're going to be talking about celebration in Japan, so it's kind of a full-seal core. So thanks to everyone that's joined us these past 5 years.

I never thought I'd be doing this for 5 years. It's been fun. Sometimes it's kind of what am I doing this for? And then it's like, this is the best thing ever, just no Star Wars for an hour.

Who cares? I have to block everything now. outside of this world, I just have fun for a while with you and everyone out there. I always tell my wife, it's like book club, we're like, always fans like, sometimes everyone comes in, sometimes everyone comes in, it's what I really do.

And we get to talk about it. And there's a lot of books, we should start on a Star Wars book club, I mean there's a few others, we'll be like a year behind. Oh yeah, there was a last time I talked to you were really a team member. Oh, I started having read a, I don't know like a hundred pages, but I haven't read anything else afterwards.

All right, so it's a long one though, but now I'll get there. All right, we'll talk about some books and all this stuff in a couple of minutes, but everyone out there, if you join us for the first time, thanks for being here, make sure you're subscribed to our channel so you don't miss any new episodes when they drop. Usually, Saturdays, sometimes Friday, sometimes whenever we get a chance, like this video and subscribe to our channel and comment down below anything in Star Wars related you want us to talk about or any comments I will discuss in today. And if you're listening to the other podcast, thank you and give us a five star rating and review.

And also, like I mentioned before, this is our Star Wars podcast, podcast day special episode also our return to our regular season. But today we're celebrating, I believe it's 26 years since j-light talks, which is that first, first Star Wars podcast back in 1999. What, cast time, they call it? Yeah, man, it's unbelievable.

It's been so long. We've been participating in Star Wars for a couple of years now and they keep inviting us, we'll keep doing it. So thank you to everyone out there, always joins. All right, okay, I think I think we can go ahead and start.

So if you guys are ready, I know I'm ready, let's stop Star Wars and Star Wars in 2024. Let's go back, let's take a look at the year that was 2024, which is funny because if you go back and probably go through social media or whatever, people were, it was a low year for Star Wars, no movies, kind of thing, I'm not going to go push back and stuff of that nature. They used to think about it. It was a pretty busy year for Star Wars, like the acolytes, some pretty bad batch, beginning of skeleton crew, the Lego stuff, all the books, video games, what's that busy year for Star Wars in 2024?

I do this episode every year in my show and I feel like I've only done it once in a movie year, but like I feel like every single year I say like, oh, I thought this year was gonna be like slow, but I ended up being super positive. And then I go to 2020 or the next year and I'm like, ah, it seems like a slow year, we'll see. It's always just a feeling. No, actually, pretty cool year for Star Wars.

Yeah, maybe news wise, we didn't get a bunch of breaking news out. I'm sure if we can, if we pick through it, it's a few stuff, but actual stuff that we got, what's a lot out there? So as we start getting looking back, what were some surprises? If you remember something, I came out and maybe you weren't expecting too much of it or something happened that threw you for a little bit, what were some of those surprises for you?

I think probably the biggest surprise for me was skeleton crew because I had really no expectations going to it. Like, when the show was announced, the concept was interesting, but we also got the acolyte and everything that happened with that show kind of soured me like, let's see what happens with this one now. So I was so pleasantly surprised, not that I liked it because I was excited for the whole ambulance, but how much I like it, how good the show was. And it's funny, I remember when they announced Joot-La, I was like, ah, I think he's too big to me in Star Wars.

And my first reaction after two episodes was like, why hasn't this guy been this hard before? So I think skeleton crew for that reason is probably the biggest surprise for me. Yeah, I mean skeleton crew was so good that maybe we'll talk about it with more about a couple of minutes about just going to that Joot-La being too big. That's usually not that complain, but one of the things that Star Wars fans talk about when new movies or new TV shows are being announced, oh, we prefer unknown actors or we're not kind of taking out of the movie shows.

But same thing, Joot-La for everyone out there like, no, that was on top of it. That was Jot Nana Wood. It worked perfectly. And we'll talk about it when we're going to 2025 with Ryan Gosling rumors, maybe he's a bigger actor, right?

I heard some people say, ah, it's too big. I get kind of taken out of it. And we just go through this with Joot-La. Nobody cared once the character came out.

He knocked it out. He's like, let's just wait for this story. I think I'm good. I can take it.

For me, the biggest surprise was how much I enjoyed Season 3 of the Bad Batch. You know that I was down on Season 1. It wasn't my favorite event. You know, brother receives that I had called out Omega.

That was a great character in Season 1. I was okay with the finale. Season 2 got better, but I was kind of of the direction either. Are they doing episode 1 or are we following the whole worst event that's going?

I was on the camp of Keep Crosser Bad. I don't want him redeemed. Man, Season 3 came out. And from that first episode, I know when it came out, Season 3 came out, I believe we got the first three episodes.

And episode 1 and 3 were just awesome. From start to finish, it hooked me and it didn't let go. So I'm surprised how much I enjoyed the Bad Batch, how much I cared for, Omega. I loved Crosser as a Bad guy in Season 2 as a villain.

I mean, not really. But in this season, just all his scenes with Omega and when he reunited with Bad Batch, with Hunter and Riker, especially after losing tech and those scenes were so great, so powerful. And the finale, one of the finalies, top tier Star Wars animation finale, and became one of my favorite series of the year. So just how much I loved the Bad Batch Season 3 was the biggest surprise, at least for myself.

Again, you feel like it's a slow year for Star Wars? We have 3 TV shows. Who of the hell? Yeah, and then the Lego, the Lego Star Wars reveal the galaxy with a little show.

It's like for episode. We also got tells of the Empire. And tells of the Empire. So 20 minute shows, two live actions, bloody Lego special.

We can complain. There's a lot of stories out there. For me, the Acculite now talk about some of our favorite moments in 2024. Episode, I believe it was episode 5 of the Acculite when the Stranger gets revealed and we have the great fight against all the Jedi and Jackie and you all kind of kick the buckets.

That was as unexpected as it could be. The whole fan was just, and people that didn't enjoy the show were talking about this episode. The lights every fight were incredible. The way money has been played both for the name of the O'Kai Mirror and the Stranger, the armor, his forearms were kept talking about his biceps.

But in the way that revealed of killing Jackie with those three steps, then killing yours, maybe that was before. But all that on the fight with Master Soul, all that whole episode was probably one of my favorite moments of 2024. Yeah, I know that episode was sick. And it came after that cliffhanger from the previous episode where they just leave us on the mask.

The Acculite, that show breaks my heart. I love that show so much. Sometimes I don't know if this has happened to any of you, but sometimes I watch something and like it and it gets like bashed by the internet. And then I re-watch and I'm like, it's not that great.

This hasn't happened to me I'm still really bummed then. I'll find out the story at least closed, but I want it more. I've mentioned here at Somporn, I had that reaction with the last Jedi. When I watched it twice in the movie theater, I loved it.

I loved that movie everything about it. And then hearing all the activity out there, when I watched it again, I started to pick up things that I didn't enjoy. But it didn't have anything to do with Luke Skywalker or with Rey or Kelly Snow. Luke Skywalker?

Yeah, I thought I was just trying a little bit congested over here. Well, um, it's just Walker. So just through me. So yeah, so everything had to do with Luke, Rey, Snow, and Kylo, I love and I still love some other parts.

I didn't enjoy so much. But now I can watch. I don't go crazy about it, but I've been there that maybe hearing other people just affect the way I relate to it. For the Acculite, as much as I enjoyed it and I would love with acceleration, we get some surprise announcement that they're coming back for a busy plus movie, just a close year or something.

I've made my piece that it's most likely done. So I know a lot of people are still asking for it to be renewed, especially when news came out. It was gonna be three seasons and a movie and people won all this stuff. Three seasons of the movie.

Yeah, I made my piece with it. So I'm like, I'm bummed, but let's move forward. Let's see what else comes out. So I kind of moved away, but the show itself, I enjoyed it tremendously.

All the way things that I didn't enjoy and that happens with everything. But talking with you, talking with the guests that we had throughout that whole series made me kind of see from another point of view, I realized why it worked for people and why they didn't work for me. I kind of can reconcile all the issues I had with it. But yeah, I'm gonna get more, especially you got Plagueis there.

What happened between what's next for me? Yeah, what's next for me? Oh, and me. You want to the angels?

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I got a birthday.

Sorry? Yeah. I don't miss the kid. Oh, man.

That was fun. I never changed. I mean, change, but not really because it's for me sometimes. Where were some of your favorite moments?

It can be books or from the TV shows. I've got to go with it. It's not like a specific moment. I recently jumped back into finishing Star Wars Outlaws because I started that game.

I bought it later than a bit later after it came out. And two games came out that I really wanted to play. So I stopped playing Star Wars Outlaws and then never finished it. So the last couple of weeks I was replaying it.

I really liked it a lot. And that was something, a game I was going like a little bit skeptical because of who was making it. But I ended up really liking the story and liking the characters, which was another thing at first. I was like, oh, these characters are stereotypical.

They are. But not so typical, like art types. But it ended up really working for me. But I was going to say, there was a moment, it was a moment where the game got me.

I was just like running away from the pikes and the Empire was also chasing me. And suddenly I like moved the video game camera and I'm like writing a speeder with two pikes following me and there's explosions on every side. And I'm like, man, this is so cool. Like just like wrecking how I can start.

Yeah. I got to see if it's in the gamepad. Sorry, we're not feelated with Xbox. I said they put it on the gamepad so I can play it.

It was just a great thing. So you're in the camp that just hates the pikes. Won't help the pikes. Yeah, they're like jerks.

Like, when I started the game, I was like, maybe I'll give them a chance. Like every time they show up and you're going to chance to like make them. And I'm like, fuck no. I was on getting biked on the second point of skew, but just a couple weeks ago, and they brought up some sad laws.

And I said, if I play the game, I'm not really the only one that's going to help the pikes. I'm just going to be going to be my go to bike. I don't know. I probably go that same route as soon as I try to do something, they just get on my nerves and I'll just kill over them.

Yeah, like, I don't know. Like, I think I really tried to be like, no, maybe I like the pikes. But like playing the guy was like, no, this guy is the worst. All right, maybe we'll change.

I gotta get into more games. You know what's funny, by the way, what I started the game like in September and came back now in January to replay it like so like February sorry. No, it was January. I finished it like a week ago.

All right. When I started playing, wait, it's it's very well. Seventh, I believe. Oh, my God.

I thought it was like the second. Anyway, actually the game I had forgotten about like the beginning. So I really don't know why I hated the pikes. I just know like every time they came into the game, I was like, hey, just give us this.

I was like, not man, like I don't like her approach. You're like the what was it? Erano and the other. Yeah, I don't remember why we're not.

I'm not mind. I just hate you. Who cares why? So yeah, another great moment where I'm not very surprised.

Same as you, it's Keratung Crew. I was positive for this show. I didn't have some great expectations for it. I was surprised about how much it went into the pirate lore of it.

This step of pirates in Star Wars that we saw a little bit in Mandalorian, but didn't really delve into it. So I think I mentioned this last time. It wasn't just an ambling kind of coming of a show was a pirate show in between. So I just love how much it got into it, how it played with the things of Star Wars and what we come to it's play.

Every week we say, no, he'll turn good. He will help them. This is Star Wars. There's still hope.

And now it's just a bad guy. And we joke about, hey, they didn't kill him. We just go to enslave them. So I love that play with that.

The things that we get used to in Star Wars and the whole show was very so I love that Keratung Crew was an audition coming after the I call language. Some people didn't enjoy, got a lot of backlash on War and Ted, most of it. To then get canceled, a lot of the fandom was, oh, I'm done with Star Wars and I'm going to put my time into it. To then get Keratung Crew, which was received very positive by almost everyone.

I'm glad that at least we're kind of starting to get a little bit going up this time as the year ended, I'm going to 25. So also the Empire, I enjoy them. Wasn't my favorite Morgan Elizabeth and I thought it didn't really. I'm very soft.

They're not my favorite characters, but I'm not going to complain a bit more information and episodes with those characters. So nothing to complain about. I was okay with them. I just wanted to say that one of the surprises for me of the year was how much I actually like the story of Baris Offi.

Because that's a story. I sometimes tell Tony, like there's stories that I think are too big to tell or like not too big to tell, but maybe like they are, we've just been asking those questions for how did I still believe the world between worlds. I'm like, don't answer the question. Like part of what makes the question interesting is not knowing.

So like what happened to Baris Offi, I was like, I don't know. I don't think I need to know. So when they came back to tell that story, I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it, like where it went. And again, they left it on kind of a cliffhanger like that.

The answer they answered the question and left us with another question. I love that she wasn't the one to save Grogu. I remember there was a big thing. The symbol on the jail, like I don't want to come back to safe.

Like she was evil. She is the one that planted the bone and lived like that. So I enjoyed it. It went on an unexpected route.

And seeing her kind of inside the inquisitors and how that whole society works, we've seen it in the book. So I was in it and the animation was kind of cool. And I so appreciate it that I wasn't this her getting revenge on the Soka. Because I think I framed that here.

I was like, why would she want revenge on the Soka? She's the one who brings the Soka. She's the best words. Oh, yeah.

Yeah. All right. So I kind of dusted for that TV site book wise. I don't know, with you not reading anything.

No. So my favorite book and yeah. Doing temptation of the force with Tessa Thompson, like that was amazing. Okay.

Let's go. I mean, every time we get a chance, we still can believe we get to talk to authors of Star Wars book is going to be on the top of that year list for me. And we got to talk to two great authors with Tessa Graton and Stephen Barnes for the makes window at Gla Sawais. But getting to talk with Tessa Graton about a temptation of the force with what that book meant for the High Republic fandom and the story itself, getting her to tell us how she came up with Ava and Elsa and how she loves this massive romance is.

I mean, I can't complain if I don't get a gift basket that some people get out there and are blanked for the act like that. Those opportunities, they're just awesome. And the CM Barnes one, like that I did not read that book. And I told them that I had not read the book.

And you know, I had my list of questions and you had given me like a very good overview of what the story was. But that conversation was like so off the rails and so when so many plays, I was like, what? That could have been a two hour conversation easy. Like he was just, I'm here, let's just talk.

I don't care about that corporate side of it. Let's just talk about it. And if you didn't like the book, I'm sorry, and I'll try to do better. But this is what I wanted to do.

And off air, I'll tell you all the other stuff I wanted to play with. Then the off air conversation, like that was like one of the coolest moments for me as a fan, like telling us some of his ideas and not just Star Wars talking other thing. Oh, yeah. Like so cool.

Yeah, so moments. I mean, I'm always with, I think we talked to what three authors now and then and every time like, this is going to be, yes, no answers just to get out of the way because we don't know them. We're no one basically to them. But everyone's been extremely open and extremely friendly with everything.

So I'm always surprised. Maybe I shouldn't be. But yeah, that's Stephen Barnes into that was like, I think I told you, I don't know if I was told everyone was before we saw he was there like 10 minutes. They're always coming right at say at five when we saw the show was there like 10 minutes before.

And it's like, dude, I know you send you send answers. I mean, questions, I need to be approved, but just ask me whatever you want. And I'll answer it honestly, and I will go. So it was just an open conversation, just about life.

Basically, try to be positive on all the stuff that he does. And then they start right on just jumping to the high republic and working with just in Ireland and some of her other books and trying to work around the romance, Jedi romance in Star Wars, something that's been built up for two years with the high republic. Yeah, those were the greatest moments, I guess, in general for this podcast last year. And then I didn't get a chance to talk with him, but John Jackson Miller's The Living Force was probably my favorite book of last year.

Really? Yes, it came at a time that I was feeling down with the way a lot of people were portraying the Jedi, kind of blaming the Jedi for everything from the fandom. You needed that picking up? Yeah, that book is just 100%.

And it doesn't shy away from telling you, and hey, the Jedi going down the wrong path. It's a couple of years before the Phantom Menace. And there's a great quote, I think it's Abigalia. I think that tells Yoda alive for the greater good, they still alive, which we know unfortunately, you know, like so high stuff.

And there's a lot of bunch of other great quotes, but seeing the whole Jedi Council working together just to help people, because it's the right thing to do, give me that positive energy and positive vibe of, yeah, they're gonna make mistakes. They're not perfect. They're trying the best. I just love that book because it brought me back to why I love the Jedi so much.

So that's my favorite book of 2024. My favorite book, I think it's some decisions before it's like, probably the only one I read. You can go wrong with that one. No, I read one of the YAs, I think.

I have it back here. I think the Five is Storm. The Five is Storm. Yeah.

Yeah, the Five is Storm. It's a good one. No, my favorite unfortunately one. It's a good one.

All right. Like I said, there weren't a bunch of news last year. I just love every time that they really got asked about her new movie. Yeah, I'm ready.

It's coming. I'm right here soon. I got here something and get in the script soon. So I just love that every time she just get recreating that book.

I'm gonna the script soon. We never heard anything. Then we learned the screenwriter left. I'm like, wow.

Yeah, you're gonna hear something soon and get in my hands. I skipped right or left. Okay. It's still on.

We'll get to the movie. Oh, yeah. She said there weren't even a news that never came out. Interesting.

I don't consider this news, but you probably saw it. I was going to be in celebration. Okay. That's for looking forward to 25.

But let's talk about what was escaping. Yeah, no. Let's go ahead into next year. So let's look forward.

Wait, something else for 24? What else? What did I miss? I was just thinking about it quickly.

There might be things about it. It's fine. All right. So looking forward into 20, 25, never my graphic there.

Look at that. Look at all that fun stuff that's coming. Celebration, Andres Season 2, the end of the high republic, path of fear, the reign of the empire book trilogy. But there's so much just Star Wars celebration.

It was gonna make a great Star Wars future. I think we can start there. I know it's difficult to kind of say what are we, excuse me, kind of looking forward to for celebration. But just off the top of your head, there's any news or any announcement that you're looking forward, they're hoping it gets announced or confirmed.

Announced? Are we talking what I hope or what I think? Oh, so let's start with, let me rephrase it. So something that we've mentioned for a while now, it's what's the future of Star Wars TV gonna look like, like live action.

And we've said that celebration is gonna be the place we're gonna learn. Because apart from under system to an association to there's nothing else that's been announced. We've kind of expect that maybe it's gonna slow down a little bit in the live action world the way that streaming seems to be going. I know there were news came out that this is plus lost 700,000 subscribers.

But if you go into the actual report, it gained 900,000 from that Disney Hulu plus book, Hulu plus it's not. So they actually gained 200,000 new subscribers. If you want to see that way. So there's a lot of contradiction out there.

The apple I had 2.7 billion of minutes was, is that a lot? Is that little? So we don't know what's going on with Star Wars live action. So that I want to know what's going on.

Like celebration is gonna be that make or break for the future Star Wars live action in terms of TV shows for Disney plus. So that's one of the things I'm really excited to find out. Do you think we're gonna get some news on if nothing else gets announced then we're in trouble. Do you think there'll be any announcements?

In that sense? I think we'll get announcements on the Ahsoka season two. Like when it's gonna fail maybe or when they expect to drop it. If there is gonna be a Mando season four, I would also expect that to be announced.

If they don't announce Mando season four, I would think it's not happening. Yeah, I think it's done with the movie. But I will see. So I think those would be like the two things.

I don't expect them to announce a bunch of shows. Like I don't expect I think that to be out here. There'll be three new shows over me. Can we get one?

Do you think we'll have at least one new show? Like not a continuation of either Soka season three Mando. Oh actually we're doing Mando season three. Do you think we'll get at least one new show announced?

No. No. Focus on the movies this year. Unless it's animated.

I think I would expect like an animated show. Yeah, they will get information on vision season three. If they don't know the tells of series, I think we'll get that. I'm really hoping and pretty sure they'll do it is a new kind of longer format.

Yeah, I'm sure to take over that much. But because the animation has always worked for them. It's always been a staple. So yeah, I would honestly like if I were gonna put on something, I think it would be that like they announced the new anime show.

It's interesting. We would tend that joke and we go back to the high republic and get something there. We finally get the looks that Walker, New Jedi or the series that people want. I think maybe like thinking about I mean they don't usually tie these to anything but like thinking about the fact that they're doing the comics in between.

We could set this like a little bit later. Although I don't know. We'll see. Yeah, they're starting to lean a lot into these 30 years time period between Return of the Jedi and Force Awaken.

So I needed series in that time. If Rey is really coming back to Amo, I think it would be smart to like drive the attention back to the sequel trilogy. Yeah, I mean, I think they're planting the seeds with all the comic books going that way. And supposedly all the Mandalorian and Ahsoka know that connects somehow to the sequel trilogy with the return of that return of the Empire, but what the Empire is doing.

So yeah, just keep going. Give us something that time period. So for myself apart from, are we getting any life action announcements or for the Fisher Disney Plus is give us updates on all the announced movies. Like we, I know a lot of people have said until I'm not seated in a movie theater or watch the trailer.

I'm not going to believe it. I've said here multiple times all those three movies that were announced three years ago or two years ago are definitely coming back. They say really movies happening, mango movies, nothing. All those are happening.

We need something concrete either. Like you just said, OCR ISAC is going to celebrate this indication that maybe he gets announced. We need something concrete for those three movies that were announced. Or I'm going to start going through the other campus.

Maybe this is what happened, which I don't want to fall into that bandwagon over there. Here's my prediction. I think we're going to get news on the three movies that were announced, like concrete news. Like I don't know, I've released things, but maybe released years.

Maybe James Bango walks on and I'm like, no, I have my script. Then he gives like a hint or two on the plot. Sure. I will bet on the Ahsoka ISAC thing like, I'm pretty sure Daisy Ridley is going to be there.

She might not be there. Maybe she zooms and just talks to everyone. I'm really in the script finally. See her.

Oh my god. Okay. This is not what I'm banking on, but imagine this. She's not there.

She zooms in. Then John Boyega comes from like behind, like he's in the same room with her. Like from London or something. And everyone's excited and boom, Ahsoka ISAC is showing up.

Oh, wow. I again, that's like a wild idea. I think they will announce the three of them. Maybe Ahsoka ISAC is just there to take pictures and do like a one-off interview in the in the in the middle stage.

I find that very hard to believe that if Daisy Ridley is going to be on stage at a convention, he's not going to be there with it. So man, it's I've said more that I believe John Boyega comes back, but this Ahsoka ISAC and I was saying a month and a half before celebration. And again, there's people go like, money has interest going to be there. That doesn't mean the actual act.

No, of course. Oh, no, no. There is a very real possibility he's there to take pictures and do that center stage interview. And that's it.

It's 10 years of forced awakens. They can make a forced awakens panel. That's it. But it makes so much sense.

Everyone would freaking just go nuts if he's there officially for the next movie. And hey, I'll take I'll take Daisy Ridley on a Zoom call and John Boyega walking out making a joke. Hey, we're late. We're gonna start shooting something.

Come on, give us that. I'm 55, 45% that we're getting someone else's announced of those big three ones gets announced. I think so again, going back to what I think it's gonna happen. We'll get to do some more.

I think that the the Ray and Charmaine movie, maybe we get the least amount of information on it because we know there's been bouncing around with the script. But maybe the update is like, Oh, Ahsoka ISAC is back. Or Ahsoka ISAC and John Boyega is back. But what I do think is gonna happen though, I think they're gonna announce the let's just say, Sean Lee, my movie.

Yeah. And I think that's next after Mendo. So then before so yeah, New Jedi Order, a new writer got announced. He's working a bunch of stuff out there.

Born trilogy. And I think Ocean 11, Ocean 12, one of those movies. He did an interview recently. It seemed like he's not starting for scratch.

Like he's working with every time it's been done before and kind of tweaking here and there, which makes sense. So in that sense, I'm like, okay, it's better than just starting from zero. I know we talked a couple months ago about 2027, the 50th anniversary Star Wars made sense for them. I'm not dropping the comments.

I made that day. I love them. And I was on the boat. This is a great, perfect opportunity to bring that Rey movie.

But the way that Sean Lee might cross it with that when I move the ring and seems that that's gonna be fast track is that the 2027 movie then, which supposedly Rey is gonna be there. That's why I say that's why I'm saying I don't think we got an update on the other movie, but we get this one announced and that's like a happy meeting for me. It's Ryan Gosling gonna be part of that movie. Yes, he is.

Yes, he is. And it's gonna be awesome and he's gonna make out with Rey. That's when Finn shows up. I've been on Ryan Gosling cake this past couple of months.

I re-watched late runner 2049, which when I watched it already, I was like, okay, I loved it when I re-watched it. I haven't seen drag. That's probably his best movie. Yeah.

It's a very performance very similar to K in Blade Runner. Right. I gotta check that one out. I finally saw the this top man.

One that he's. Oh, that was a super fun one. He's a great movie. I mean, he can play whatever role he's a great actor.

He's currently the action in between drama. So I'm on board. I don't care that he's extremely famous. Yeah, his skin from Barbie and all this stuff and in all book.

He's a great actor. I'll buy him in Star Wars. So you need to be a good master. I don't know.

I don't care. So I'll learn as if he works. That's literally what I told Tony, like when we talked about what I was saying, like this guy played Kate. He played the driver and Brian.

He played, I don't know, remembers name in the notebook and he played Kent. Like he's gone a crush. There is like no other alternative here. It's one of those actors that when you're growing up, you're like, oh, no, he's too handsome to do all this stuff.

I don't want anything to do with all the no-boo. That's a chick flick. And then as you get older, you put all that behind him and you watch all the actual movies. Like, you know, he works.

Back in the early 2000s, it was cool to dunk on the notebook. They're not because of great movie. Yeah. It really is a great movie and they're both great.

I'll say my wife showed it to my daughter late last year and I watched it for the first time, like full arms. I can watch it. It's a good movie. All right.

So movie rumors. I can't remember my movie rumors in my, I think that was the show on Lee. Yeah. And then animated projects we talked about.

And so in Star Wars celebration, just to kick off the year, it's the perfect way to kick off Star Wars in 2025. And then we go into, it's four months away, right? Yeah. Yeah.

I said April 18 and I took your advice and I asked for the day off. I got the day off on Friday because I'll be like, I'll be like, I'll be like, whatever it is. Couch car. I'll be ready for it.

I'll be texting you for the morning. What the hell is going on? I'll be up. I'll be.

And then we go to Andor. So this year in the TV side, we have Andor season two, I believe Vichon season three is out this year. I think that date hasn't been announced. So we know Vichon season three is coming soon.

Probably made for it. And I don't know if we get that tells off this year. I think so. But we'll wait for celebration.

But Andor season two is the big one. Andor season one, even though I say hasn't been my favorite Star Wars TV series, I can honestly say it's the best Star Wars TV series out there. Some super excited for these little images and not trailer, but some of the clips that have been out there have been pretty intense. And after reading the Rain of Fire book, I want to go back to this political reign of the Empire.

So it's not my day. We've been going for two weeks. I forgot. I was like a dragon.

Rain of Fire. That's where Michael, Michael, Michael, and I have Kristen Beow all the dragon. Oh, wow. Classic.

I had the post in my bedroom. I love that. The post on the tower. Yeah.

Anyway, Rain of the Empire. But Andor season two, I don't know. There's no information about this, basically. It's April, right?

Yeah, I think they're going to show it's right after celebration that weekend. Oh, people got like the first. Yeah, look at their couple. Um, I'm very excited for it.

Like we'll see. It's fitting, I'll say. Like, it's like with the Rogue One coming out that year. Yeah, we'll see.

But no, I'm so excited for it. I know it's a heavy show. It's also good. So under season one was such a, I'm gonna say surprise, but I guess surprise.

I would bring that went from episode week to week to week. I just kept hoping the anti and the finale hit every single note. When I when we learned that, what's his name? Tony Gilroy.

Tony Gilroy had like been involved from the beginning. Yeah. I knew we were going to get like a different star because I always knew like Rogue One is not his movie. Yeah.

But so I wasn't surprised on that end, but like I was surprised on how much I liked it, because I was like the kind of person who asked for this. Like who wants to show about a character in a mediocre movie. So even though that's the coolest poster of all time. Yeah.

But yeah, and I was on the other side with the people that were extremely excited for this show, for some reason, for season one. But it's still so priced without great. It came out like everything worked for that show. Every character, all that side characters, everything worked.

And unfortunately, when you're going to the real world and you'll see that, you know, it trends, it tracks. So yeah, season two is gonna be interesting, like you said, to see how it hits with the current political landscape. You can't escape Star Wars in politics, especially now. And you know that Tony Gilroy is again pulling any punches.

And this going into Rogue One, the way it looks like Andrew's gonna be doing some spy missions and I know people have been saying, you see the one that gets one Mot matter Carl Sand and with Soge Rara doing his Soge Rara things out there and whatever Looten has going on. Like I want a trailer now. I know Star Wars doesn't know trailers for the Super Bowl apart from the teaser for Solo, because it came out in May. I mean, don't be surprised.

Those are pro those are pro those are pro. I don't know if it's a Sunday now. I think they were really like a first trailer before they would do that. Yeah.

And it's I mean, we're a couple of months away. Like we said, two months away. This is usually when Star Wars starts announcing stuff. I mean, showing trailers.

I don't know. Maybe I think maybe good morning America the next morning in ABC, don't do a little teaser and then go to YouTube and watch the full trailer. But knowing that Super Bowl there's a lot of stuff there. If they really said during the Super Bowl, send it to me because I will not know that I can.

You know what? Come on. I hate the Philadelphia Eagles. I'm a cowboy's fan, sorry for everyone out there.

The rivals and the Chiefs. I don't mind the Chiefs. People hate them. The Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl again.

Yeah, there are three. They've been for the three bit. It hasn't been done before. Well, they've only done it three times.

I thought they've been in the final five times. I will not. We're not going to get into this now. I can't explain that.

Whoa. I never hear sorry to you. For immediate release of the press, I will not be watching the Super Bowl. All right.

If there's anything Star Wars, I will take you. This is my very not serious promise to you that I will remember to take you at 9.30 on Sunday. I said so. 9.30?

That's not around seven. But it's a long show. It's three hours and there's half time shares of 30 minutes. The other day, I was going to say like something very cool about Andor.

Diva Luna is not Puerto Rican, but Diva Luna is huge in Puerto Rico for a while. So from him getting cast in Rogue One, that was super exciting. I know so many people that watch out, but we just because it's the Diva Luna movie. But then to see him in Andor and then everyone being excited about it, I've been a fan of him for like 15 years.

Yeah, it's one of them. Yeah. But no, no, no, we're watching. Yeah.

I know we talked already about this. People don't like and understand why big names in Star Wars. It's self-stick. It's at the end of the day, this is a movie business.

If you put, I said before, put Joot-Loss name in the Mandalorian Grogo or in the Filoni movie. People will go because it's Joot-Loss. If it's Ryan Gossing, people will go. Even if they don't enjoy Star Wars, since then they got Luna, because the Hispanic and Latin market, people will go watch it.

Yeah. I was going to look something up very quickly. All right. Well, you look in that up.

Vision season three, we got the announcement. It's going back to anime this year. I was kind of thrown off a little bit, but it makes sense. Especially with celebration being in Japan, it was announced, I think it was in a Singapore convention or something like this and it was doing on that side of the world.

It made sense that you got announced the way it did. I love visions. It lets Star Wars just be free with whatever they want. So I'm extremely excited and hypo season three.

Hopefully it comes out, like you said, May 4th or around that time after Andor finishes, we get vision season three. Do you hypo for visions? I'm never hyped for it, but I was super into it. The first one I was fine with, the second season I really liked.

Let's see what's up with season three. I think my favorite from season one more than season two, which is funny because I'm kind of bonded. They're going back to just anime shows, but anime is my favorite type of animation for these type of shows. That's why some of the animation's selling season two didn't work for me, even if the stories did work, the animation's selling.

But I think it's the first episode from season two, which is the one from Spain. I love that one. I think it's probably something I love that one. So books, Battle for Year, Rain at the Empire.

I know you're really in Tia Shodenameless. It comes up, stop, stop, really high republic. Read this. You're gonna get angry.

You're gonna get pissed off when you're reading this book because I'm for sure of the state of the country right now. It just makes you want to stream. You're reading the Empire and Papparting doing stuff that's actually happening right now where you're moving to. You're like, how can people not see it?

It's like a one to one comparison. This book was written 18 months ago or whenever. But it's one of my favorite books, I think, of all my top five star wars. I'm reading the audio book or listening to the other book right now.

I'm getting pissed off again. I'm so angry, but I love this so much. Can I tell you something that'll make you more upset? You just said this book was written months ago.

The reason why it's similar to what's happening is because what's happening is what happens in every country that gets a dictatorship at some point. Which he, Alexander Fried, the author at the end in the acknowledgement says all the background research that he did thanks to all these historians. I've done this before. It's not like, oh, I'm just gonna do Trump.

No, these things have happened in history. There are a lot of people happening again right now. It's like, do you get angry? But at the same time, it's such a great book.

Mon Mothma, Bea Organa, Sogoe Rera, Palpatine. I don't think he ever shows up, but he just looms. He looms large. His name is Masa Mida.

It's the one from that side that shows up. He's mostly at the end, Sassin, and I'm not going to spoil it, but Sassin between him and Mon Mothma at the end and just gives you chills. And like, oh, fuck, like those crew, basically. We know, we know, they're gonna win at the end, but right now, you're screwed.

So yeah, for everyone out there, if you love Star Wars book, if you love Andrew, if you love the Mon Mothma scenes in Endor, there are one stuff, all the political stuff in Star Wars, and you enjoy actual political thrillers or just getting to what's happening in the country or just all over the world, this is the book for you. Like I said before, it's gonna be a lot of people's top five of the year. I'm gonna put it there right now, even though official hasn't come out, it's gonna be difficult to top. There's one book that might, and we'll talk about that in a minute.

But you're getting this one, right? You're getting it. But it all goes to the end of the high republic. Try also the Jedi.

We got that amazing freaking color. Grand Jocelyn, I believe, is the artist. And Bixin Obsys, but basically, Naijeda, are going to find Planet X to figure out how to take the name of Star Wars. I don't know, it's been three years.

We don't know the Naijeda. This is Ocean C11, basically Ocean C9. Naijeda. Yeah, that's our set.

Elsar Avar. Let's see. Bell. Bell.

Buri. Reef. Rick will be there. You can't go to the next one.

I don't know. I'm not up today, so that's where he gets tricky. I'm saying, he's alive. He's alive, he's alive.

No, I know he's alive. He's alive. He might die. I don't know if I can't.
