He tugged briefly, then released Ezra and licked him again before dropping back to lie full-length on the deck, his hind legs out to one side.Ezra shifted back to human in a rush and sat down hard on the deck. The creature looked at him and wagged his tail, but made no move to do the same.He glanced up as Zeb got a hand under his arm and hauled him to his feet. “So?”“Well, it didn’t eat you.”
