Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Storytime with Maceo Read Aloud)

We're continuing our "Storytime with Maceo" series, with a focus on instilling a love of reading in neurodiverse learners. Because our son has autism and a speech delay, we use this platform to encourage all kids, neurotypical and neurodiverse alike, to love to read.Maceo enjoys listening to stories of all genres. He especially likes to read books that rhyme and books about orchestral music. We've tried reading aloud Star Wars and Marvel-related books to see if they pique his interest. They do. Because of this, today's episode is all about reading The Last Jedi.Tanya, the producer of our podcast and channel, is reading to our son Maceo. She is a freelance writer and editor, as well as an aspiring children's author, who has completed several manuscripts with ethnically and neurodiverse main characters. She has a PhD in education and previously worked as an English/Language Arts teacher, instructional coach, and educational consultant.
