STARGATE (1994) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch! | James Spader | Kurt Russell | Roland Emmerich

Kristen & Vivian react to Stargate (1994), a sci-fi adventure that follows an Egyptologist and a military team after they unlock the secrets of an ancient portal capable of transporting them across the galaxy. Arriving on a distant desert planet connected to ancient Egyptian mythology, the group uncovers a hidden civilization, dangerous secrets, and a powerful ruler posing as a god. This reaction stands out for its blend of science fiction, mystery, and large-scale adventure, as Kristen & Vivian experience the film’s world-building, alien mythology, and iconic portal-travel concept in real time. Directed by Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, 2012, White House Down, Moonfall), the film stars Kurt Russell (The Thing, Escape from New York, Tombstone, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Big Trouble in Little China), James Spader (The Blacklist, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Secretary, Boston Legal, Pretty in Pink), Jaye Davidson (The Crying Game, sci-fi cult film appearances, dramatic performances, cult classics, limited filmography), Viveca Lindfors (The Exorcist, Creepshow, Stargate tie-ins, television dramas, classic cinema projects), and Alexis Cruz (Stargate SG-1, Castle, Touched by an Angel, Shark, ER), bringing together a cast tied to major sci-fi films, cult classics, and franchise storytelling that continues to drive strong reaction and crossover audience appeal. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
