Keir Starmer said that Joe Biden was 'on really good form' and doubled down on the government’s commitment to increase defence spending to 2.5%. And the government is planning to release non-violent criminals early to free up space in prisons. Starmer’s emergency measures are expected to buy the government 18 months extra time, but what are the long-term solutions?
