These stories were all written in response to the themes of our short story telling salon "Are You Sitting Comfortably?" which ran monthly from 2008-2018 at Arts Admin (LONDON UK) and The Basement (BRIGHTON UK) The show  was " a monthly immersive live lit cabaret in the style of an 18thcentury Salon, as if transported to a 1930s teashop/haunted toyshop. Focusing on a different theme every month, the show featured original short stories read aloud by professional performers, with magical visuals, games, chip butties, homemade cupcakes, cocktails in teapots, and surprise guests. “Are You Sitting Comfortably?” featured the work of over 700 new and established writers. The show was partnered by digital publishers Ether Books. It evolved with the invaluable contribution of the brilliant Paschale Straiton and Jules Craig. "  Enjoy!
