In order to attract excellent global companies and investment capital, Seoul has officially launched ‘Invest Seoul’, the city’s Investment Promotion Agency. Its main goal is to help foreign investors find a successful business.  In this webinar, Bonhi Gu will run a session on how Invest Seoul is committed to serving as a devoted business partner, leveraging its expertise to provide active support across the full business cycle. He will share how Invest Seoul is promoting the investment environment of Seoul to attract leading global companies and link them to foreign investors. This procedure will turn Seoul into an engine of an international financial system and make headway in the future. Speaker: Bonhi Gu is the Director of Invest Seoul, an investment promotion agency of Seoul Metropolitan Government. He is truly enthusiastic about making Seoul a leading hub of global business, innovation, and talent in Asia. Most recently Mr Gu has been leading work for Woori Bank Korea. There, he served as an investment banking manager & derivative trader in London & Seoul. Before that, from 2011-2015, he led the Global Business Department where he handled both HR issues and budget management of overseas networks and employees. Also, he contributed to the company by launching banking products for global Wealth Management clients. His work has taken him to Woori Bank Europe GmbH in 2016, where he mainly focused on corporate banking business, money intermediary, and bond trading business.
