Sir Croakington is told by the grey mage herself to go to the Bottom of Raknar's Mad Labynith and close the shadowpath within it, presumable at the very bottom of it many many floors. In Just the first floor she finds, deadly automatons, moving floors that try to stop her (she finds something to help with that) and first encounter with the eye, skull and moons symbols and dials she will become VERY familar with.
