Start with Why

from Mo Therapy · host Monique Simkova

I'm excited for you to come on this journey with me as I finish my Masters in Education in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. Each episode I will give an Aha moment, a fun fact, and a question to ponder. Making mental health resources easier to access and sharing information about the path to becoming a mental health counselor or school counselor.  In this episode, I’m going to let you know a bit about myself and give you the why behind starting this podcast. Then, I’ll give a fun fact about psychologist Albert Bandura, and leave you with a question to ponder about the relationship between self-efficacy and self-doubt.  Any technique I suggest is an invitation, not an expectation. I am but a therapist in training and I say this because I want the very best for your mental health. "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” Rumi References:  "Start with Why" by Simon Sinek (Book and Ted Talk)  Self Efficacy work by Albert Bandura  "Late Bloomers" by Rich Karlgaard "Atomic Habits" by James Clear "Unlocking Us Podcast" by Brene Brown Intro Music by @MaxDuggan (check out his IG!) Big shout out to @AkashThakkarAudio | Check out his podcast 'Sound Business' and YouTube Channel Akash Thakkar (I wouldn't have done this without your support!)

Join us as we navigate the intersection of technology and mental well-being, helping you track your emotional journey and build lasting resilience through the power of Lynne's Podcast Lynne August MD Dr. A offers her interpretations and applications of Dr. Revici’s profound research at DrRevici.com and the Revici Journal. Dr. Revici was arguably fifty to one hundred years ahead of his time in his application of quantum physics to medical sciences. As a once-aspiring physicist, this alone propelled Dr. A to Dr. Revici. As a physician, she felt compelled, and in some palpable way responsible, to understand Dr. Revici’s ability to control pain and achieve remissions in terminal cancer patients with his non-toxic “guided chemotherapy”, even many cancers that conventional therapy failed to control. Most of the time his questions and solutions were as unprecedented as they were effective. While Dr. Revici was primarily focused on cancer, Dr. A’s research and therapeutics to prevent and treat all chronic and degenerative disease can transform 21st century medicine.
