Starting Like A Dragon

from What Is Going On, Anyway? · host Ann Hedly

New Moon for August 4, 2024. But it's the 6th and I had a quiet start where I didn't publish for 2 days. That's just fine because this new moon is about potent and creative beginnings. Whatever it is you attend to, whatever it is you put your attention on... that will germinate and grow. This is the same wisdom as always, but this time it's like magic beanstalk beans. Or I think it might be. It's probably worth considering that what you want to see come into being creatively in your life should have some focus in your life these next two weeks. This episode I use random chance to pull together a theme. I took 5 titles from my stacks and shelves and randomly selected a page. I like what shows up and here are the books for reference: The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Translation by Edwin BryantYou Can Heal Your Life, Louise HayBe Here Now, Ram DassThe Time of Our Lives; The Ethics of Common Sense, Mortimer AdlerWays of Being; Animal, Plants, Machines: The Search for a Planetary Intelligence. James BridleWe consider Hexagram 1. The Creative, the Force, the Dragon. In the time of beginnings, what will you start? This is a public episode.
