Starting Over

from The Creative's Chronicles Podcast · host Bright Emeka

We hold dearly to hearts, narratives that are integral parts of the fixed identities we’ve created for ourselves; letting go of a number of these fixed identities and mental models can do us a world of good, but doing this requires a courage. In today’s episode we would be about starting over, skill acquisition and overcoming limiting beliefs. Mental models are self explanations of how things work. This is our perceptions and the worldview we carry around in our minds. Do listen, share with a friend and have an Amazing Weekend! Notes from Today’s Episode: § Deconstruct Your learning or project, break the big tasks into manageable bits and face them head-on § Learn just enough to self-correct: you have to realise that you cannot to omniscient, do your due diligence, read blogs, watch Ted talks, read books, but don’t let this phase slip into procrastination. Learn just enough to get on the bike and start riding. § And finally for today - Remove barriers to practice - You are constantly bombarded with a million and one distraction, you have to intentionally prioritize executing on your projects,  Remember to go out and create Awesomeness, I would love for us to continue this conversation on Twitter, I encourage you tweets @brightcemeka or @chronicles_tcc am looking forward to hearing from you and please do subscribe on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher Radio, Google Podcasts, Breaker, Podbean and any other podcasting app you use, just search for The creativeschronicles on your podcasting app and subscribe, thank You!
