Subir no sentido de ir pra cima em inglês é “to go up“. Pode ser no caso de subir a escada “to go up the stairs” ou mesmo subir o morro “to go up the hill“. Descer no sentido de ir pra baixo é “to go down“, assim como “to go down the stairs” é descer a escada. Só que quando falamos “subir” para meios de transporte, os verbos são outros!
