State Capture Commission Former President Jacob Zuma

Former South African president Jacob Zuma on Friday confirmed that he will be attending the State Capture Commission, or known as the Zondo Commission. On Friday, outside of the Randburg Magistrate's Court, Zuma spoke to the media saying "We'll see how it goes,” when asked about his lawyers making a showing at the commission today. The commission is a year in now, and Jacob Zuma's name has been mentioned loosely in multiple witnesses claiming that he had been linked to forging deals for the Gupta deals to wanting to fast-track the Russian nuclear deal. The testimony which has blatantly put the former president into the centre of the state capture controversy is that of former head of state protocol Bruce Koloane, who this week said he never apologised to Zuma and two ministers for using their names to land the Gupta family at the Waterkloof air force base. The Gupta family landed a commercial aircraft at the air force base without permission.
