Welcome to 2021!  We want to wish a VERY Happy New Year to ALL of our listeners and we can’t thank you enough for your support in 2020, and for making “Deeper In The Word” what it is today!  And….welcome to the FIRST episode of the new year, where we present to you our “State of the Church 2021” Address (our version of the State of the Union Address given every year by the President).  In this episode, we examine some of the biggest challenges facing the global church body as we head into the new year.  Discussion topics include why SOME people think Sodom and Gomorrah were a married couple; the importance of churches knowing the people who live NEAR it, not just who go TO it; why churches shouldn’t be acting like a Burger King; the problems associated with “church shopping”; what in the world the acronym F.O.M.O. means; and why “stuntin’ for the ‘Gram” should NEVER, EVER be in ANY church’s vocabulary.
