State Of The Interruption

from Painted Trash: An LGBTQ+ Podcast of Hilarious Discourse · host Mark & Casey

Send us Fan MailWelcome to Episode 98!  This week Mark & Casey are giving you all the feels (laughter through tears if their favorite emotion) with their chat -- from family ties, to lost jobs, to interruptions from the trash. So get ready, it's time to paint! In this week's Trash Pick Up, Mark & Casey are briefly discussing recent personal losses in their lives in what seems to be a theme of 2022 so far.  It's been an emotional time for both of them and they are sharing some of them on this week's canvas. Then it's on to the Mid-Section, where this week, in review of the State of The Union speech delivered to Congress, The Boys are hitting the heights and rolling around in the lows --- mainly the trash duo in the House who were interrupting like they were at a Maga (or white nationalist) rally.  Well, as only Casey and Mark can do -- they are bringing the receipts as to how these two characters got to where they are.  It's a tea spilling, hair raising, eye opening conversation.  The facts are the facts and they don't create a pretty picture.Next up in this week's Trash Talk,  Casey has us comparing a recent Dua Lipa smash hit and a much lesser known song Artikal Sound System which has Dua Lipa embroiled in not one, but two lawsuits on copyright infringement. Is there a case to be made?? Decide for yourself.  Then, Mark has yet another attack on mask mandates, public healthy and safety, and a right wing conservative calling out college students on a hot mic.  Who was it? what did they say? Where are they from? Have you heard or seen the clip?? (Check it out; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9syRGE51HE).  Lastly, closing out this week's segment, Mark is sharing about an huge star in the opera world who has seen all of her performance contracts cancelled, then takes to social media to react (that always works out well, right?). Why were the contracts cancelled?  COVID, nope! Listen to find out why. Finally, it's on to Recommendations (or Wreckomendations). This week Mark is bringing us a little known new film which is now streaming with a cast of big-name STARS. Casey is touting a new horror movie just released and playing in theaters. This is a hilarious, topical, informative, tea-spilling episode.  You don't want to miss this one! So pour yourself so delicious port vintage, make sure you've got a fresh diaper on, and let's paint  some trash!=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Let The Boys of Painted Trash know your thoughts on this week's topics and episode!Have a topic idea or story you recommend for Trash Talk, be sure to send it in to our email or through the "contact us" on our website.Follow us on:Instagram: instragram.com/paintedtrashpodTwitter: twitter.com/paintedtrashpodFacebook: facebookcom/paintedtrashpodcastDon't forget to click Subscribe and/or Follow and  leave us a review!email: [email protected]: www.paintedtrashpodcast.comLet The Boys of Painted Trash know your thoughts on this week's topics and episode!
