Static & Smoke

“If You’re Scared” (M-Dok Remix) is a heartfelt reinterpretation inspired by Static Major and Smoke E Dillinger’s raw piano freestyle. M-Dok reshapes the original emotion into a House x Bmore x Jersey Club hybrid, blending soulful progression with a sharp rhythmic pulse. The signature freestyle melody becomes a hypnotic lead line, carried by light jackin’ drums, off-kilter club patterns, and a warm Chicago swing. It’s a tribute to R&B soul, internet-era nostalgia, and underground dance culture—transformed for movement, storytelling, and the late-night dance floor.
