Stay Awake

In this message, Stay Awake, Pastor Sam explores Jesus’ repeated call for His followers to live in a state of readiness for His return. Drawing from Mark 13, Matthew 24–25, and Acts 1, this sermon examines what it means to be spiritually awake in a world that is often distracted and unaware. Sam highlights four characteristics of an awake believer: praying, working, anticipating, and watching. Through Biblical teaching and practical application, he challenges listeners to stay focused on Christ, faithfully steward what God has entrusted to them, and live with joyful expectation of the King's return. Rather than producing fear, the promise of Jesus' return is presented as the believer's blessed hope—a truth that inspires prayer, obedience, faithfulness, and anticipation. This message is an encouragement to live prepared, engaged, and awake in the days ahead.
