Stay generous

from Walk With Me #Deararn. · host anne ajadi

Stay generous, and no door of goodwill shut against you. Before I go, let me tell you a little story. Notice that we have never run out of foodstuff in the house. There is a back end to that; when I was much younger, I used to share my food with one destitute older woman that lived not too far away from our house. I saw she lived alone and she was old. So, I would deliberately ask for a large portion so I could split my food in two and give her the other half. When visitors came to our house and gave me money, I would take part of it to that same woman. One day, after I handed over the food to her, she told me she had something to give me. I did not believe her because I knew she was poor. What could she possibly have? She asked me to kneel so she could pray for me. She said a lot of things in the prayer, but I remember only some of them. She prayed that I would never be stranded in life, that my generation would not know poverty. She prayed that my storehouse will never be empty and that I would always find help. Son, I am sure you can testify that God answered her prayers and did for us much more than she asked. She died a week after that incident, but to me, she remains alive because I see the effect of her prayers every day of my life. I could tell you many more stories, but I believe you have noted the life lessons in the ones I told you already, I would end this letter by using my mother's word: 'a word is enough for the wise.' amazon.com/anneajadi anneajadinspirations.com Instagram/arnajadi Twitter/arnajadi Facebook/anneajadi Youtube/anneajadi BOOKS BY Anne Ajadi: YOU WILL MARRY WELL GODS LADY IN WAITING WALK WITH ME IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF JESUS STRENGTH FOR THE JOURNEY HEART MATTERS, LIFE MATTERS
