Her debut novel went out in May 2015 titled “Ghost Network”, which is a story of a pop singer who went missing and the pursuit to find her. Catie discovered her passion in writing at a very young age and has decided to pursue this career. She got a degree in creative writing and followed this path. “I’ve always wanted to be a writer ever since I was a kid.”On this episode, Catie shares her journey on how she became a writer and how she keeps herself motivated. Writing a novel takes months or even years to accomplish - and for the Ghost Network, it took over 5 years to be published. She shares the process in writing the novel and the inspiration behind its creation. “I feel like I am my work in general, but I identify with the process of doing the work more than any single piece.”This is an interesting episode that will surely bring out the creativity in you.
