Staying Authentic, New Album and Calling Out Cheaters with Genesis Owusu

This week, we're joined by the talented, seven-time Aria Awards winner, Genesis Owusu. We spoke about his Australian tour and dived into his latest project Redstar Wu & The Worldwide Scourge — from the inspiration behind it to where his sound and style truly originate. We talk vulnerability in rap, creating music that feels honest, staying connected to fans and why authenticity has remained at the centre of everything he does.Of course, we had to get into some Bittersweet conversations too: unsolicited advice from people who haven’t lived your experience, navigating outside opinions about your career, whether people with influence and wealth have a responsibility to stay connected to everyday people and calling out cheaters.FOLLOW THIS WEEK'S GUESThttps://www.instagram.com/genesisowusu/?hl=en📲 FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIAInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/bittersweet.podcast/Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@bittersweetpodcastHost: https://www.instagram.com/win.tanaa/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
