Staying faithful when others fall away

Even when the world turns away from God, He always preserves a faithful remnant. In this Daily Hope, Pastor John S. Dickerson shares from 2 Kings 17:13–14, where God “sent His prophets and seers to warn both Israel and Judah, saying, ‘Turn from all your evil ways and obey My commands.’ But the Israelites would not listen; they were as stubborn as their ancestors.” The people of God repeatedly rejected His voice, leading to exile and heartbreak—but a remnant stayed true, represented by prophets like Elijah.
