Steam Machine Price Revealed, XBOX Closing Studios Maybe? # 497

After a very much unintended week off, Sean and Marc are back discussing the latest in what's going on in gaming and a few big stories from the week before, too. Valve not only revealed the Steam Machine pricing at an incredible $1049 (USD) for the 512GB version and $1349 (USD) for the 2TB version, but there are also official reviews out there for the set-top PC, and the thoughts are all over the place. Showing some of the strain that the machine may be able to play the latest games in the AAA space, but it could be a great thing for indies. So, is this something either Sean or Marc would consider purchasing it at any point? And what about for others at large? Also, XBOX CEO Asha Sharma has now ended her own honeymoon period with XBOX players by posting another internal memo called the Next 100 Days XBOX Reset. In it is some damning state of XBOX by looking at the realities of where they are and where they need to go. Also in there are hints at layoffs with rumors of several studios being closed. Could XBOX even get a chance at resetting at all?
