Branch gets in touch with his oracle friend, Jean, to search for Lucia's mother, and Lucia looks for more fae that would be willing to join her court.  When she finds a settlement of refugees, she also finds trouble in the form of some unfamiliar fraternity wizards.  Before her friends show up to help and bail her out, she exchanges a few tense words with someone she had hoped not to see...
