Our £1.25 billion green steelmaking journey goes way beyond our Electric Arc Furnace...   A significant and critical part of the investment is also being spent on extending the life of Port Talbot’s Hot Rolling Mill and investing in a brand new Pickle Line. These upgrades will ensure the low-CO₂ steels from our Electric Arc Furnace are processed as effectively as possible before going for further processing or direct to customers.
