Stem cell day! My voice is a little hoarse since part of the procedure is injections into the ligaments that hold the skull into the spine. The only way to get to those is through the mouth! I had a lot done medically today, but I practice what I preach. I woke up early today so I could get a workout in before my procedure. I don't know if I'll be too sore to do much the next few days, so I prioritized getting that in today. I also finished up my step count goal between the bone marrow aspiration and the injections later in the day. Tomorrow, I'll move as much as I can, too. The point of these injections is to heal joints, and joints don't heal while stationary! Now, that doesn't mean I need to push through real pain. Stiffness and soreness I'll work through. If there's true pain, I know that is an area to find another way to mobilize. Healing starts in the mind first, though. If you don't know your body and the fake versus real signals it sends out, you will stop at any resistance. It takes real mental work to understand the difference.
