Step 6- Become entirely ready to have God remove all your character weaknesses.  Not some of your weaknesses, all of them. When you rigorously work steps 4 and 5 an emotional and spiritual cleansing has taken place and if you continue to be fully committed to this recovery program, when you reach step 6 you will have an overwhelming desire to give away all of your sins, all of your defects, all of your pains to the Savior Jesus Christ who freely suffered for your sake.
