If we don’t know why we’re here, it’s hard to know how we’re supposed to live. In our second step from Wilderness to Wisdom, we look at why God created the world and what that means for us. God created the world for His glory. He wanted to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth, and He created us to live as citizens of that Kingdom, not to just exist, trudge through life, and hold on until we die. Once we understand the difference between the spiritual realm and the physical realm, and that we’ve been programmed to believe survival is the goal, everything shifts. We are ambassadors of our home government, Heaven, and that changes how we spend our time, our energy, and our lives.
