This week, my guest is Stephanie Darling. Stephanie is the beauty queen, according to her brilliant book Secrets of A Beauty Queen released last year. It's half memoir and half beauty tips, tricks and recommendations. She's the Beauty Director at Fairfax with a weekly column in Sunday Life, and was the Beauty Director at Vogue Australia for over a decade. She's also worked at Harper's Bazaar, Mode, Cleo and was on the launch team at Madison. She invited me into her beautiful Sydney home where we talked about the highlights of the over 260 treatments she's trialled including Equine therapy, her decision to get a nose job, thoughts on botox, interviewing Jane Fonda, the, erm, interesting haircuts she's had over the years including a khaki fringe, extravagant beauty press trips, her perfume-smelling skills and a whole lot more.
