Stephanie Kiesow / WORKICIDE / Driving the Conversation / Preventing Work Related Suicide

from Law Enforcement Life Coach / Sometimes Heroes Need Help Podcast · host John Kelly

This week I had the unbelievable pleasure to sit with Stephanie Kiesow ( round 2, I accidentally deleted our first interview 😂). Stephanie authored "Workicide, How to Overcome a Career-Related Decline in Mental Health and Reignite Your Passion for Work and Life". Stephanie and I discuss the work she has been doing that directly impacts the quality of life for our brothers and sisters. We discussed the workicide triad, and how the current internal affairs process creates and environment that supports isolation, removal of identity, and organizational betrayal all initially based on an allegation of misconduct. We had some powerful discussion that will get you thinking differently about the way we treat ourselves and  each other. Sit back and give this episode a listen and come away a better version of you for doing so. Until next week, take care of yourself and each other.
