Based on Stephen King's novella, The Body, Rob Reiner's 1986 classic Stand By Me followed four childhood friends as they venture off to find a dead body laying somewhere along their local railroad tracks. The film centers around their friendship and offers up a heaping dose of 1950s nostalgia.
