Stepping Out In Faith
from Faithfulness on SermonAudio Hosted by Oliver Wyncoll
Saving faith does not rest in our own courage or strength. When Peter took his eyes off Jesus, the waves overwhelmed him; but as he cried out, "Lord save me", then Christ reached out for him. This message, "Stepping Out in Faith," points us beyond self-reliance to Jesus, the giver and object of saving faith. Whatever storms we face, our hope is not to be in the strength of our faith, but in the strength of the Saviour who gives faith and calls us to come.
