Stepping Outside of Your Box - Aleshia C. Edwards, MSN, CRNA

This week's episode features Aleshia C. Edwards a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, CRNA, practicing at a Level 1 trauma center in Dallas, Texas.  After graduating from Savannah State University with her Bachelor of Science in Biology, she realized she no longer wanted to pursue medical school. Instead she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia. After graduating, she worked in the critical care setting in various hospitals in cities including Atlanta, Houston, and New York. Aleshia is dedicated to mentoring individuals interested in the anesthesia profession, as well as educating the public.
