Sterling Land Trust, Greenville, SC

Sterling is a neighborhood of Greenville, South Carolina that has deeply contributed to the city’s history and culture. At the heart of Sterling neighborhood was Sterling High School. Historically, Sterling was the social and economic heart of African-American community. Today, the Sterling Land Trust, formed in 2010 by local residents and also Sterling High School alumni, is working to assist the neighborhood in land ownership, asset and wealth creation, and building community.
