Steve Carney thinks those bachelor groups of deer could get ROWDY

Steve Carney makes his weekly appearance with Steve Thomson. He’s been struggling this week with the weather and the wind. He hasn’t had much luck hunting the deer or the ducks. He thinks the heat is a huge factor in this tepid season so far. Steve also asks about the upcoming turkey opener… Steve likes eating the smaller birds rather than the bigger (tougher meat). They note the resiliency of the turkey and how many more they’re seeing in places they weren’t inhabiting a few decades ago. Steve also notes that corn being cut down soon will force the deer to finally get movin’.
