Prosecutors have filed a civil lawsuit claiming Steve fraudulently transferred ownership of key family LLCs (McBee Properties, Rock Bluff Development, and S&K Enterprises) to sons Jesse and Cole in January 2024 — right after he was charged and before sentencing. The feds say the transfers were designed to hide assets so they couldn’t be seized to pay the massive judgment. No one else faces jail time, but the civil case could financially gut the entire family. Meanwhile the McBees are quietly stepping back from the spotlight.
