Steve Robertello: Pulling the Curtain on an NCAA Tournament Selection Committee

Steve Robertello is a 26-year veteran of college athletics administration. He's served in a variety of capacities at West Virginia, Villanova, Arizona State, Washington State and Fresno State. Currently he's the Associate Commissioner of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) and has served a term on the NCAA D1 Baseball Tournament Selection Committee. In the first of two parts, Steve explains what goes on from the first time you walk into the committee debating room, recusing yourself if your school is being discussed (and does that realistically make any difference) and whether a committee reviews the pros and cons of the previous year's work and strives to make changes based upon what didn't necessarily work.
