Steve Rogers & Peter Holding- Farmers working to make agriculture sustainable

Steve Rogers is a dry land rice farmer and Operations Manager for the Natural Rice Company based in Kyogle. He speaks to Sean O'Shannessy & reveals some of the ecological and economic advantages of dry land rice growing and dispels some furphies about the so called Australian "Rice Crisis" Peter Holding is a third-generation farmer in south east NSW, growing crops such as canola and wheat, as well as running sheep for wool. Peter is also a member of the Climate Kelpie – a central location for farmers after practical information and tools with which to manage climate change risk and impacts.
