In this episode of Bowel Sounds, hosts Dr. Peter Lu and Dr. Jennifer Lee talk to Dr. Steven Erdman about polyps and hereditary polyposis syndromes in children.  Dr. Erdman is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and past president of the Collaborative Group of the Americas on Inherited Gastrointestinal Cancer (CGA-IGC). We talk to him about all things related to polyps in children, starting from the humble solitary juvenile polyp to the various polyposis syndromes we can encounter in children, including Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS), juvenile polyposis syndrome (JPS), familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), and Lynch syndrome.
