Dr. Runge received his BA in Speech Communication (Western Washington University), a Master of Theological Studies in Biblical Languages (Trinity Western Seminary in Langley, B.C.), and Doctor of Literature in Biblical Languages (University of Stellenbosch in South Africa). He serves as Scholar-in-Residence at Logos Bible Software and as a research associate affiliated with the Department of Ancient Studies, University of Stellenbosch. He is the author of Discourse Grammar of the Greek New Testament: A Practical Introduction for Teaching and Exegesis, High Definition Commentary: Philippians, and High Definition Commentary: Romans. He also edited Discourse Studies and Biblical Interpretation: A Festschrift in Honor of Stephen H. Levinsohn and co-edited with Christopher Fresch The Greek Verb Revisited (2015).
