Steve discusses his acclaimed run on Sandman Mystery Theatre, which earned him three Eisner nominations, his deeply personal graphic novel It's a Bird..., which offered a meta-narrative about the struggle of writing Superman, and how he balances commercial appeal with intimate storytelling across his diverse career.
