Stewarding your Personal Finances

Kimberly Abalos and her husband Chris have been attending New North for the past six years with their two beautiful girls, Sydney (14) and Ruthie (11). Kimberly grew up in Georgia and Chris grew up in South San Francisco. Over the 18 years of their marriage, they have done tremendous work to learn how to steward their finances well, together.  They not only learned the what, whys, and hows of budgeting, but they have helped dozens of couples and single adults learn how to do the same. They are passionate about the freedom that followers of Jesus can experience when we control our money rather than letting our money control us. When Kimberly isn’t equipping people with financial training, she is either having fun doing Jiu Jitsu with her family, playing with their quarantine dog Margot or studying for one of her last classes at Skyline to become a Respiratory Care Practitioner. In this podcast, McKenna and Kimberly will talk about why stewarding our finances is an important spiritual discipline and discuss some easy first steps people can take in order to make it a reality.
