Language is a gift we can use either wisely or foolishly. How can our words transform the way we see the world and our relationship with God? To discuss this with us today, we invited Dr. Greg Spencer to be with us. Dr. Spencer is a professor of Communications at Westmont College, in Santa Barbara and has been faculty there since 1987. He has written a number of books including a book called Reframing the Soul: How Words Transform our Faith which we will be referencing today. He was the Western States Communication Association’s Master Teacher of the Year in 2018. Another of his books, Awakening the Quieter Virtues has also had a profound impact on McKenna's faith and pursuit of Jesus.
