Stewardship & Church

Today, Bishop continues the series on the "Church" from Luke 16:9-12 on the topic "Stewardship." Money is not neutral, it is evil and it must be sanctified by God to be used for good. Money defiles those who love it and allow it control their lives. As believers, we understand money is a tool which we are required to use responsibility for God's kingdom. There are three principles we need to practice. First, if you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in great things. Don't let your integrity slip in small matters. Second, if you are faithful with money, you will be given spiritual riches. Every person is a steward of God's gifts, including life. If Christians cannot manage their money, property, and other possessions properly, then they cannot be expected to be entrusted with the rewards that last forever. Lastly, if you are faithful with what belongs to someone else, God will give you your own. If you are not responsible in what belongs to your parents, boss or Pastors, God is not going to give you your own stuff.
