Stewardship By Design
from Chris Stuart - Tyndale’s Plowboy Hosted by cstpb
The central message of this sermon is that humanity was created to be stewards, or vice-regents, of God's creation, exercising dominion over the earth in accordance with their design. This understanding advances the belief that humans are not the supreme rulers of the universe, but rather servants who are accountable to a higher authority. The takeaway the teacher wants listeners to understand is that recognizing and embracing our role as stewards can provide perspective on our significance and purpose in the grand scheme of creation. By acknowledging our place under God's sovereignty, we can avoid the pitfalls of either insignificance or self-exaltation, and instead live out our lives with a sense of responsibility, humility, and obedience to God's design.
