Diario de una madre de provincias: ¿Sabes qué es una madre de día? (01/02/25)

Dejar a tu hijo de 0 a 3 años al cuidado de una "madre de día" es muy habitual desde hace años en muchos países del centro y el norte de Europa y ya es una posibilidad de conciliación -y también una profesión- cada vez más común en grandes ciudades españolas. En provincias las primeras "madres de día" se abren camino poco a poco. En este episodio conocemos a una de ellas para que nos cuente en qué consiste su trabajo, qué perfil profesional hay que tener y qué beneficios tiene para los bebés de los que se hace cargo este tipo de cuidados frente a otras fórmulas como las escuelas infantiles o guarderías. Se llama Teresa Alonso de la Torre y desde hace más de dos años es "madre de día" en su casa del barrio de los Castellanos en Cáceres.
