Still Comin Back

from Bobby Blaze · host Bobby Blaze

Yea, you know I've always believed that you can't help everyone But everyone can help someone So this is my experience my strength and my hope Somebody take away my pain, it's getting hard to maintain I wear the mask of a monster when there's liquor in my vain Can't explain when it started and thought it was a friend to me The feeling of euphoria would slowly sip up into me The search for tranquility is cumbersome at times So I would sip liquor just to redesign my rhymes Coke and doja combined had me drifting away Then tuck the bottle for tomorrow and get faded today I'm a say I'm okay and I'm a say that I'm fine But you'll never hear me say that I'm dying inside Mixed emotions of losses and swimming in sin But to take away my pain I pop a bottle of gin Right back at it again, the cycle is vicious I can't seem to stop no matter how hard I wish this Destructive consistence and emotional lack I got to put the bottle down but I'm still coming back This is for the ones powerless in their storm For the ones who felt alone since the day that they're born Everyone struggling to get it on track We try to break away but we're still coming back For everyone battling demons in their dome And all of those lost, trying to find their way home For every single soul that's under attack I can relate to that and I'm still coming back A couple more years pass, fresh ice in the glass With the side effects of spirits catching up to me fast Broken relationships and shattered ambition Caught a couple of charges but I'm still on a mission Swear I'm loosing my vision and missing my purpose But I'll never let the pain emerge through the surface Homie this hurts but it's the life that I chose Don't want to get close 'cause my soul stay froze Man this drinking got me thinking I'm alone in my storm Then I'll drink a little more for my people that's gone Reminiscing when spitting a cypher the other night But I might have imagined it 'cause I'm loosing my mind After crashing my ride twisted off the Henney It's amazing how my shot glass never stayed empty I don't want the bottle but I'm stuck in this trap The struggle is real and I'm still coming back This is for the ones powerless in their storm For the ones who felt alone since the day that they're born Everyone struggling to get it on track We try to break away but we're still coming back For everyone battling demons in their dome And all of those lost, trying to find their way home For every single soul that's under attack I can relate to that and I'm still coming back Is this a disease that got me on my knees Tear rolling down my cheeks while I'm screaming God please All I really want is peace in my tormented mind In the bible it says, if I seek then I'll find Everything that I tried and every place that I've been All the pain I held inside as I buried my friends All the flesh I've been through and all the dirt that I did Every time I back slid after loosing my kid Every character defect since my umbilical cord I surrender it all and lift it up to the Lord I pour out my last brew for the Bobby you knew Then I'm a smash the glass bottle bro, baby I'm through I'm tired of these chains inflicting all my pain And I put that on the blood of Jesus Christ holy name Ain't never no shame while I'm speaking on that He saved me today and to Him I came back This is for the ones powerless in their storm For the ones who felt alone since the day that they're born Everyone struggling to get it on track We try to break away but we're still coming back For everyone battling demons in their dome And all of those lost, trying to find their way home For every single soul that's under attack I can relate to that and I'm still coming back If you're feeling this song, pass it along We keep what we have by giving it away
