Still Standing

Sermon: Still Standing Passage: 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10 Sermon Series: Faithful to the End Date: September 21, 2025 Speaker: Sam Cassese It’s a special weekend for Eastpoint as we launch a new campus in Centreville, and we’re starting with a look at the very first days of another young church—planted in the bustling city of Thessalonica. Against pressure, opposition, and uncertainty, that church didn’t just survive, it thrived, and the ripple effects spread far and wide. What was their secret? In this sermon, we’ll uncover how God’s saving work in them became something the whole world could see. And we’ll discover how the same God who sparked a movement in Thessalonica is still at work here on the Eastern Shore, in your home, and in your story.
