Stock Talk Podcast Episode 30

from KeyStone’s Stock Talk – Canadian & US Small-Cap Growth & Dividend Stocks, Tips & Portfolio Building Strategies · host Stock Talk Podcast by KeyStone Financial

We have another busy show for you this week. We start off by looking at some stats just released by the IMF (International Monetary Fund), their revised outlook for the global economy for the remainder of 2017 and 2018. We talk about what a tough time it has been for Canadian investors over the first 7-months of 2017. In our Your Stock, Our Take segment we take a question from a listener about newly listed Canadian small-cap, Goodfood Market Corp. (FOOD:TSX), a leader in the emerging Canadian meal-kit market – is it a BUY, SELL or HOLD? Our star of the week is Scientific Games Corporation (SGMS:NASDAQ), which develops and manufactures gaming and lottery machines. The stock jumped over 40% this week after reporting better than expected numbers. Finally, our dog of the week is Twitter Inc. (TWTR:NYSE) which dropped 14% today on the heels of a disappointing set of second quarter numbers #stocktakesitonthechin.
