In the dead of night as people sleep, that is when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three dark things take power, we like to call it the supernatural hour. Hey, welcome to the Supernatural Hour. This is your host Raven.

This is Chad. This is Velma. It's Moon. I'm Whiskey.

So I am as always excited about our podcast. This is one of my favorite parts of my day when we have podcasting. How's everybody doing? It's a good fun thing outside right now.

Doing good. I am super excited for October. I know it's still mid September, but I started using Halloween stickers for my piano students today. Mmm.

What a sticker to you. Anything but... You need a check-o-lantern and a ghost. You need a ghost?

All of it. All of it. Good to know. I have a hard time because I don't do cutesy halloween so I have to try not to put anything too terrible because most of my students are under the age of 12, so...

We don't want a bloody creature. No, I gotta count it down. But I don't do cutesy halloween. It's my little pumpkin cutesy ghosts.

No. I do. I mean, I like them, but when I decorate, my house has to be spooky bloody. So real dead bodies.

Oh, shh. You got all your little little doll to put out. We will talk about those a little later. But first, we've got a lot of events coming up.

It's starting to spooky season people, so I'm super excited. Yeah. Spooky. Spooky.

Okay. So on October 5th, we are doing a return visit to the Hewish Pays Theater down in Paysen. We're doing another... A popular demand.

We're doing another dead talk and investigation at the Hewish Pays Theater. We're looking forward to that. That'll be October 5th, Saturday, at 8.30pm. Tickets are on sale right now at event, right?

You can go to advancedparanormal.com slash events for a link there. Or you can go to event directly. But go out and get the tickets. We're limiting that to 25.

It'll be a really good investigation, so it's gonna be a lot of fun. And if you haven't been to the Hewish yet, which I know most of you haven't, because we've only been there once with guests. And it is a lot darker than I thought it was gonna be. So if you want a good dark, creepy, spooky haunt, you will be there.

In addition to that, we are going to have another October event. We've got the venue. We just are working out details that will be later in October, probably the 15th or the 22nd, and that range. Not too close to Halloween, but it'll be a really good investigation.

So we will get more information on that and details on that as on all of these events are available at eventsparanormal.com slash events. You can go out and look for the information and details there. And once again, for that, I don't know how many time. I think it's the...

Oh, I don't know. They've done it forever. The free Indian Hills Horror Haunted House. This is done by members of our team, Klaus, who has been on our podcast a long time ago.

Pete, their family does a phenomenal haunted house down in Provo. Go out to the eventsparanormal.com events and click the C-Haunt. It'll open up some YouTube videos. I was watching some of the past videos.

Some of them go back to 2009 and they show the most recent one of 2023. You can see how it has evolved over the years, but it just gets better and better every year. The scare nights on that are gonna be Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th from 8 p.m. till 11 p.m.

and on Halloween, October 31st from 8 p.m. until 10. And then there is gonna be a no scare walkthrough where there won't be any actors, but you'll be able to see the exhibits, the props, all those things. And that's gonna be on Wednesday, October 30th from 7 p.m.

until 9 p.m. We also have an event in September, so. Yeah, we don't. On the 26th.

Which one's that? That is at the Mystic Frog at 7 o'clock. Okay. I'm gonna do a little talking investigation.

And if you haven't been to one of our dead talks before, these are perfect if you've been thinking about going on a ghost hunt, but you haven't dared yet, or you've got a friend or neighbor or coworker and they keep saying, oh, I want to go on a ghost hunt, but they seem too scary because these we do a little presentation. Presentation takes anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. Depends on how many questions people have. The presentation, you could call it Paranormal 101, we just introduce you very briefly to all aspects of how our group views the paranormal, which means a lot more scientific than a lot of groups.

And then we show you our equipment, we introduce you to the team that's there, and then we do just a mini investigation. And by mini investigation, rather than three hours of 45-ish minute rotations, we'll do two rotations of maybe 15 to 20 minutes. And just in pretty much the same location that we do the presentation. And so if you've never investigated before, or know someone that's never investigated before, these what we call dead talks, like a TED Talk by Dead Talk, ehh, see you back there.

Are the perfect introduction if you just want to stick your toe into the paranormal and see what it's all about. So this is a great opportunity. We also have several in October coming up. What nights are we doing the library presentations?

Let me consult the calendar. We'll be doing Mystic Frog on September 26th. We will be doing the Springville Library on October 2nd. We will be doing the Hewish on Saturday the 5th.

And we will be doing the Chapman Library up in Salt Lake on October 11th. So it's way fun. You haven't been there? Yes.

Pretty heavy schedule this next month or so. And then we usually, we've done the American Fork Library for probably six or seven years in a row. I have an email out to them. I'm just waiting to hear back from them.

So we may have one in the American Fork area as well pretty soon. Good thing about a hybrid, you know? It's a good thing gas doesn't cost anything for a will. And that he will dive all of us everywhere.

Thank you. Okay, you're Okay. So we have a special guest with us today. Yes, it's Batman.

Batman, would you want to introduce yourself? Yeah, I'm Batman. So Batman is on our team. And as we have said before, when we're able to, we like to introduce you to everybody on our team so that if you ever come and investigate with us, you've got a little idea of who we all are.

So Batman, would you like to tell your story? Yeah, kind of similar to my sister Moon's story is that we fell into the haunted house when we moved about when I was 12. And we came into this house that just always had eerie feelings while you walked out the stairs and like it always felt like something was following you. Sometimes I'd hear voices and think someone's yelling at me and I was the only one home crazy things like that.

Even times when I'd be playing my drums and stuff and I'd hear something like yelling at me from over the sound of my drums and I'd stop and like think my dad's yelling at me and oh, it was just nobody. So it's how we got into knowing that there's stuff beyond what we comprehend physically. And yeah, as I got older into my teenage years, things just seemed to get stronger and I remember I had my first experience seeing an apparition at the house and one of the times I just saw like a face pulling above me and when I woke up in the middle of the night. And a few weeks later, my cousins slept over and I was trying to draw them a picture of the face I saw which I didn't turn out too well.

And so I just started scribbling on and making fun of it. Gave it out in John Glasses and then a cup on my table just flew over at me and him and after that I was like, well, the random my parents were like, there it goes. My dad ended up doing a blessing on the house and it calmed for a little while but still there was things we could see. I mean, Moon both saw a lady sitting on my mom's bed and we thought it was an on for a second and then we realized that whether her or not we'd be next thing you know, she's gone.

So that's where what got me interested in the paranormal and then Moon found this group and then invited me into it and I've been going with it every time. I just want to point out that all of your little creepy house stuff I am currently house sitting in a very empty large house and now I have the crepe. So thank you for your creepy story. Do you feel like you're being watched from behind right now?

Don't make it worse. Are you fell in this house? Let's go. I'll bring the back.

Well, hopping whiskey is hybrid. And take the hybrid all the way over here to be a good one. We'll save some gas money but we'll be there in roughly 24 hours. I'm going to hear us coming.

Brave and Disappeared. Alright, my stories are just that boring. Well, I have a question then. Like you guys said you like more so discover in your spooky haunted house but your mom seems like she was really into it and audible.

Like for example, my mom growing up was all into it and reading books of stories and stuff. Like did your mom, was she into that before all this time? So my mom was always like this like no spiritual and spiritual and believes in all that but she had the religious belief of it and so the spooky factor about it and the thing is that we would see or anything it would always either be like something not good. It wasn't just a honey and if you saw it it wasn't good and more now in her older age she's more open-minded about it now and it's not all seen from just a religious standpoint.

And so she's very more knowledgeable about it now and I was like there's good spirits and bad spirits and the good ones will also present themselves in different ways. And that man and Moon's mom is a team member. She's Black Widow, correct? Yep, correct.

I was going to say she had her own spooky experience that she hasn't had like super spooky experiences. She had spiritual experiences and family kind of experiences but she had a spooky experience at her job in her 60s which changed her mind pretty quickly and opened her mind to being more curious and she knew I've been into this like probably my whole life and things and so I let her know about the team and about Raven who I do her nails. She reached out to her to come hunt her work and yeah it just opened the door to a lot more open-mindedness to the subject. Oh that's so cool you kind of brought her into it.

I bring everybody into it. Look at my family. It's a family business now. It's a little story while we're solving for time here.

So as we all know if you listen to this podcast my house got absolutely wrecked which is a story but Moon came and helped. I think we actually talked to you. We talked about the podcast that when we were stuck on all the water you actually saw something and then we got I think we did. Yeah we mentioned it and we brought out some equipment and we were able to detect a magnetic field in an area where you saw something dark at the end of the hallway.

Ever since then we haven't fully finished repairs. Hopefully a week away at this point there's been these two little lights on my desk that are for ghost hunting. I call them dumb lights. It's literally just batteries and a light bulb.

There's nothing else to it. You just make the wires touch and the light turns on. There's no button to press nothing. It's just a screw on thing.

The way you use them in the pair normals you like screw them on a little bit. Just until they're about to turn on and you can barely top them and they turn on. So that's how they were sitting on my desk and they almost never go off. All of a sudden since then they have been going off and I am currently working on a little something for Raven's ITC device.

So I turned it on and it was just sitting there running in its little mode just trying to figure out which of the dots were speakers and it immediately said fear me or not immediately. But after a couple of little bit sitting there said fear me and one of my lights turned on my desk at the same time. So I was like okay wrong house fear me you know how much equipment and time I got down here in the middle of the night. No problem.

I got lots of questions. You want to be scary? Get your notebook out. So our main topic is sponsored by Oteos.

I haven't been there for a while to eat. Chad I think we need to go again soon because that's actually sounding really good right now. Yeah didn't they move locations and getting into their new place? I think they're still at their old location but I know they're getting their new location ready.

I think they had a shindig there maybe last week when I drove by there was a bunch of cars there and obviously it's a small venue so I figured there must have been some special going on. I know they catered for a lot of movie star stuff and trying to think of who it was it was somebody big. So I don't know yeah so that's a lino. I don't know names.

I just know it was so I was like wow that's impressive. You must eat Bert Reynolds or something. It's Bert Reynolds. You heard of your first house.

In a paranormal show yeah. That was inspired. So we're gonna talk about the Stockwell Ghost and the Stockwell Ghost. Some people call it a poltergeist and you all know how I feel about poltergeist and we'll chat a little bit about it again.

But this one's really interesting. I love the time period and I love the place and we can also talk a little bit about whether or not it was a hoax. I have opinions on this so let's do it. It all started back before oxygen existed and you're probably like well that's impossible.

Whiskey what are you talking about? Why? Because oxygen was actually discovered in 1772. Fun fact another fun fact there.

It couldn't have existed before that. That's when it was discovered. And this also happened on the 6th of January at least when it started in 1772 and Stockwell London in England. Was there an insurrection?

I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.

January 6th is just almost becoming one of the dumbest reasons but I know. I forgot what they was doing. Before the United States was even in a country. So there was one that wasn't here.

Yeah that's right around the time it happened. So before sliced bread probably before oxygen definitely. So just yeah for if you're like me in your brain this would be about the same time as Marie Infinite. Okay.

Pre-revolution. When I say pre-revolutionary war. Just right there. Is the time period where they say to blah blah blah and fancy wording?

Yeah so you know let them eat cakes stuff like that. I think people are pretty superstitious at that time as well. I was reading there's a lot of supernatural intrigue during that time. Yeah it was like a tourist attraction for them.

I was like oh I gotta go see it. 1772 years after the death of Christ. Yeah absolutely. This timeline man.

What is what we're talking about? Where it was located in southwest London it was a very rural area. It apparently had like I don't know 10 actual houses within that area. It's a very small little location and people wanted to flock there to go to this house in particular to witness some spooky activities and it followed.

So it was Anne Robinson who was the servant and Mrs. Golding's house and where they went the spookiness followed. Yeah there were reports of pups, saucers, stone plates falling from shelves and food being thrown across the room. As long as that's trying to catch into my mouth I'm okay with food.

Objects falling down the chimney which is weird. You don't really hear that very often and it was going through windows. Lots of violent noises in the house. There's lots of stuff going on.

My favorite thing and I don't know when this particular thing was written but it's in quotation marks. It says Ham's Cheese and Loaves of Bread, Disported Themselves upon the Floor just as if the Devil were in them. Well dirty the food. Come on.

Look at us, lungeables for the mall and a little fly-s But you know one of my things when you read Harry Potter there's a lot of talk about food and every time I read Harry Potter I just want to eat everything because they're eating constantly in those books. And so another little section of this said that an earthen pan of salted beef broke to pieces and beef fell about. Two falling about everywhere. A little bit.

I don't know. It's not like there's hands. There's cheese, there's loaves of bread, there's pans of salted beef. This story makes me just want to go to check around my face.

Makes you want to do a chicory board. Yeah or maybe we can upscale a little bit and go to Golden Corrupt. Oh well, they're all single. I am not a fan.

They should have been bronze. I don't know about that. There's somewhere where you can go to a good buffet and just get just I don't know. I'm a little bit of this.

I'm a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of salted so like an advanced paranormal team meeting is what I'm hearing. Pretty much. And that's gonna be a way to get buffet. If you have been to one of our team buffets you want to sit down.

What when we were talking about what happened I thought it was kind of funny that Mrs. Golding and took her and her servant and they were like oh my god so they ran out to the neighbor's house and they took refuge there but then the spookiness happened there so we like kicked them out and had to go back to their house again so it was like falling everywhere. He's like not my house. Well I think I thought it was funny.

If you read the story there's a lot of running back and forth in the houses. Yeah. I read this. I just pictured these people running back and forth.

It's kind of like cartoons their arms waving in the air and their big skirts billowing out behind them and running back and forth like Bugs Bunny was chasing them or something. Well I hear like the silly music as the stuff talks around and we're like oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

What I thought was funny is there. Yeah they are. They're running back and forth. They don't have telephones or cell phones or anything to keep in contact and so the rumor mill is going wild while this is happening and at some point a neighbor was told that Mrs.

Golding had died but apparently she just fainted. I think I would faint if my food started acting like the devil was in it. I've seen Harry Potter. I feel like we're desensitized at this point if it just goes full and around and we're like oh wow.

Look at that. That was me. Nearly had much of that. Nearly headless.

So yeah so they're running back and forth and I think one of the funniest parts of this room and I feel bad saying funny because I'm sure these people were terrified what this is happening. At one point they called the doctor and the doctor's name was Gardner so the doctor comes and Mrs. Golding wakes up because she'd fainted and I remember the medical prowess at the times. She said she asked the doctor to bleed her because you know if you let out she did some bloodletting.

You know the fact the spirits out. Exactly they thought that would make you better so he did some bloodletting and I put the blood in a pan because you don't want blood all over your floor that's gross. You might need it later. You never know.

Mrs. Payne asked if the blood should be thrown out but the surgeon said no let's keep it. I don't know why but he's like no let's keep it. Good wood stain.

I think back then. I'm for blood pudding. I don't know. So the blood can shield and after it can shield it sprang up out of the basin upon the floor and presently after it broke the pieces.

Ew the blood broke. Like a shatter. Like glass blood. It broke into pieces.

You know what's weird is when I was looking at research it said that a surgeon drew her blood to study it and then an unforeseen force emptied the vial and then smashed the vial on the ground so it's like weird because as I've looked around it's slight variation between two different people's like story of it. And like Ashley Simpson's song pieces of me is just a whole other take on this I feel like. Yeah so yeah I think blood can shield blood popping up out of a container would be a little creepy. You know one time when I was getting my blood drawn I had too much sugar and caffeine and my blood jumped into the vial really fast and my sister almost passed out so.

Sounds really like Johnson. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.

I think so. That's one time I was getting immunization for like eight days. And I was like I'm great because then he's had to drive me. I'll stop.

I'm sorry. No no no no no no. And yeah sorry moon and we're at the doctors and they gave me my first shot and she gets us squeamish and so I started laughing and they had the next shot ready and then it like went into my arm in and out like three times and she's like oh it's almost passed out. So I know that I can be on the call if you ever have blood jumping at you.

At least a couple of us will show up you know in our blood safety kits. We'll be fine. Moon will be useless. I'll be on the floor unconscious.

All right back to the stock will go. What is tangent? Back in the old days I was what did they call me Chad? Granny Cinnamon?

No not that not me that. That was my stage name. Hold on. Where'd you do that?

My other name. No back in the day. You have to call me Granny Cinnamon. No I was the one that had to keep bringing everybody back on top.

I had a name. I don't remember what it was. The bringer backer. The returner.

You know what? Yeah something like that. The Raven. The Raven flew back in.

Looks like that you know. Never more. Okay so at this point things are getting creepy and so they're like we gotta get out of this house. So they went back to someone else's house and when they went back to someone else's house it was the grushems.

They started having pewter dishes fly off the wall. They would put them up. They had them like on a shelf on the wall. They put them back up and they'd pop off again.

And then I had a pestle and mortar, candlesticks, China, a teapot. My favorite was an egg. There's an egg so we got back to the food and egg flew off a shelf. I'm wondering why there's an egg on the shelf but you know it was the 1770s so I guess that was the thing.

Well let's brush eggs. We'll actually leave them on their counter after weeks. Well I do but I don't put them on a shelf. You don't have an egg shelf?

No I don't. So just to clarify that we have chickens that lay eggs and when you have fresh eggs from real chickens they do not need to be refrigerated. Yes you can leave them on the counter up to a month. And we didn't find out.

I said chickens. I said chickens. Well when you get eggs not from the store that have been washed and cleaned and sterilized because it takes a cuticle off of the egg which is a covering which makes them need to be refrigerated. Sweet.

So in Europe most of the eggs are not refrigerated also. More eggs. Well I like mine. I don't think you eat it raw cold anyways gross.

When we were in France we were served cold scrambled eggs every morning which was a little off putting but I digress. I love France. Left France but French people you gotta eat your eggs hot. Okay so there's a lot of running back and forth.

There's a lot of food involved. There's a lot of dishes breaking flying around but with all the hustle and bustle and bloodletting and things breaking and fly-in-off shelves and running back and forth to different people's houses. Mrs. Golding noticed that her younger maid by the name of Robin's name I'm gonna assume that's her last name was calm during this whole time.

So if you've seen everybody running around their hectic weird things are happening and you see someone calm what are your guys' thoughts on that? They know what's going on. They've been traumatized too much. It's called a calorone.

Oh lord. I'm gonna get canceled. Fire alarms over for her. Just saying.

Hi and her name is Ann Robinson. Yeah yes. So yeah you guys picked them all either for her it's normal either she knows what's going on or she's the cause of it or she's just clueless. There's three four five different things that could be.

So they actually went back to the Golding's house because everyone's like you know what keep your havoc to yourself and she's like I'd rather keep my havoc to myself. So she went home. Things and noises are just happening till five in the morning or five in the morning. The two women, meaning Ann and Mrs.

Golding, went downstairs. Furniture was starting to tumble all over again and they decided for their own security they needed to and their words quit to the house which nowadays we would say we would leave the house because they just they thought that some catastrophe was going to happen. So the neighbor noticed that Ann was kind of calm from all of this. So the neighbor's like hey just for fun.

Why don't we have Mrs. Golding come to our house and let's leave the maid at your house and see what happens. And so when Mrs. Golding went to the neighbor's house things didn't fly off the shelf things didn't break but things were flying off the shelf and breaking they could still hear it from Mrs.

Golding's house. And then they tried moving them around again and the same thing happened the same things were happening where Ann was and not where the owner of the house was. And what we kind of failed to mention was some of the neighbors were starting to blame Mrs. Golding.

They're like what did you do? What did you do that hell is raining down on you and the angels are having God is raining his wrath upon you and she's like I have been in this village for years you all know me I'm an upstanding woman that's not me. So when they started to figure out you know only this stuff only happens around the maid. So with that in mind what do you guys think?

Well I mean it got so bad that like people started coming from all over to try to witness it. I saw something that said that like rich people would send their servants to go witness it because probably they were too afraid to see it themselves but they wanted to hear about it. I can't imagine this lady getting blamed it's on her and it's just getting really bad around town and she got way too known for a bad day. That's that's kind of a frustrating and sad thing for her I suppose.

So being a maid maybe was job security. Exactly right. All I'm saying is like if you're rich and you want some service to go check out something scary for you. Whisp.org, Transparental.com, hit us up gladly.

Just grease the palms. I didn't see that. I didn't see that. I did see that some people thought it was witchcraft too.

And then things started getting bigger and it started off with eggs and plates of ham and then it turned into like a nine gallon casket beer. Pales of water. I mean those are a pale of water. If you think about a gallon that's eight pounds.

Well the weird thing is like so when they're trying to say like okay it was Ann or whatever she was saying oh used you know pieces of hair to attach to things like horse hair to attach to things to pull stuff. Like how do you do the big stuff? Like how did that thing of beer? That's some strange horse hair.

I don't know for some of the things now then again back in the day stuff they tend to you know blow things out of proportion. It's not like you had a camera and put it on TikTok. You had to like word of mouth it. I don't know.

Right and you guys have played the telephone game where word of mouth can just get crazier and more blown out of proportion with every telling right? But yeah she said she like apparently put stuff on the edges of shoving so that it just didn't take much to make it fall but like how can you do it consistently all the time? How are you setting that up everywhere going? I don't know like it's kind of weird it seems really extreme for one person to be able to do so often so easily.

I don't know. Unless they have a motive. Oh there was a motive. Whiskey do you know what the motive was?

I mean we're still uncertain if this was a hoax or not but let's say it was a hoax. What was the motive? I heard on the streets that there was a certain someone. A certain maid that might have been hooking up with another somebody and needed the house to be clear to make a mess if you know what I'm saying.

Right? No I'm just imagining them clearing the countertop and going at it. But that's some weird thing to do because okay you scared it. Ooh and they ran away.

Well there were times they left her at the house herself. Why didn't she just say let us do it now? We have the house empty. Miss Golding's over there.

I'm gonna go over to her and I'm gonna go over to her and to the other house. Some people like the risk, Velma okay you know it's not just a cut and dry. And we're making it sound like this is something that happened over a day or two. This actually went on for quite a while.

So like does that happen? Every time she was like hey hey they had she had to like make some crazy happen? Like how often does that happen every day every other day once a week? When I'm talking to you.

I'm just like you had a lot of China that's all I'm gonna say. You broke China every day all of it. You just keep buying it. Stop buying it at some point.

Say and I'm thinking did they not have a barn with horses? They couldn't have gone out to the barn. If they didn't where's the horse here coming from? Now we have more to go out of creepy maze.

That's going around taking a horse here from people. I can say to the pillow cases or mattresses back then. That's why I got weird because for as much of a lab where it is it's like I don't know can one personally do all that. It's kind of weird.

They go to the neighbor's house and they're still hearing things going on and you know maids having a friend. Yeah. When the poultry guy says knocking you know. Right so if we go with the area that she was trying to clear the house so that she and her lover could have a trist.

Doesn't that sound 1772 is a trist? They said that she placed things on the shelf, China on the shelf so that it could fall very easily. Said that she had detached horse hair or wires to articles so she can jerk them off and cause them to kind of dance. And keep in mind this has been a long time ago but someone said that she admitted that when no one was looking she threw an egg at the cat and threw other things around.

And so you know their backs were two were in so she'd throw she could throw things and she could say oh did you see that fly across the room? Over there Chuck. But so that's one theory another theory was that she was a witch or in league with nefarious spirits and these frightening spectators that actually assisted her and so this could kind of fall into my theory of a poltergeist which they may not have had back in 1772 but where maybe something traumatic happened to her and through her frustration and some gifts that she had you know her frustrations would bent out and make these things happen and maybe she didn't know and she's so used to it happening that it didn't seem like a big deal to her. Maybe an attachment or something.

Or it would have been an attachment. So she said that it was the other way just to kind of cover up the fact that the real way is like real messed up and she doesn't want to admit it or? Yeah I think also like when you got to think this is 80 years after the second witch trials so it's not like she didn't know what happened to pass down in memory so at a certain point when people start saying witchcraft even if you didn't do it you're probably compelled to say no I was pulling a prank because I wasn't in love with somebody. You don't want to get burned at the stake again you don't want to say them with trials part too kicking off.

Absolutely so basically eventually everything stopped and everything went back to normal but you know it's one thing that this reminds me of is when we go to residential or anytime anybody that's listening you hear ghost stories that's one thing we try to weed out is you know is some paranormal stuff really happening is it you know people just watch too many scary shows and they turn noises into things that they're not do they want ghosts and so they make up stuff and I'm not saying people do don't get me wrong but anytime that you deal with anything paranormal you have to debunk and find out you know what exactly is going on. I agree. It was kind of hard because there's each story I saw just slightly different than others one of them apparently the girl went to jail and then a few years later she died and so that house was on it like left uninhabitable because no one wanted to buy that thing and there were reports of like strange incidences in the house where they tore it down in the 1870s so if people are saying there's strange things is because everyone's just like that's a spooky place of what happened so oh I witnessed a spooky or I mean was there still stuff there I don't know yeah we don't really hear much about I mean it was so long ago 1772 we don't have very many stories from that time it seems like most of the stuff that we've talked about is earlier so it's really hard to know what's fact what's fiction let's hear say what's been blown up because it's just been passed on forever I would like to know if it was a type three slash mnemonic entity causing issues like that man said was an attachment mother to hoax was it you know her energy from trauma if so what was the trauma I have questions or even wants the tea I want the tea they have tea back then they can spill the tea yeah there's a tea party not long away from there's a stream of some something no no this is a million g they spilled a lot of tea champions a lot of tea back then so anyway I find these stories fascinating so I know it could be a hoax I know it could be one of many things but I like to just think that it's real because it's kind of cool so and if you're listening to this you know someone or you yourself have lived through something where really through things like this has happened I realize that it can be a terrifying thing to live through so I don't want to make light of it but I've things like this if it really happened is what's interested me in the paranormal I kind of gave you an unintentional intro into this talking about something that happened to me when I was younger I was kind of a poltergeist activity I was in my early 20s and we were this is just one of the many stories I had with this Ouija board but yeah I had a apartment with my friend Nick and we played with it and then like we know we released something because you would you would see it crawling around it was disgusting but when you'd be home alone before the story continues didn't it have any love interests that he wanted you out of the apartment for you know it's possible this hangout is actually really ignite I'm supposed to go meet up with her could you give me a little text you got go or did he have an alter ego of robin yeah that was the other thing he wanted to get me out so he could dress as robin tried to seduce me but we worked opposite schedules he worked nights and i worked days and so we had this one bedroom apartment we actually shared a bed so by the time he got off work I was getting up and going to work and vice versa kind of thing but after we had done the Ouija board thing we released something we had as 20 year old to do a shelf just full of liquor bottles empty ones and one day I'm just sitting there watching tv and I just hear big crash and I was just like I'm not leaving and then I walked in there to look at it and then two more just fall off right into the sink and break and all right I'm leaving and then I got out of there yeah I think whoever lives there now probably doesn't like it are you sure there wasn't force hairs involved in those bottles yeah well there wasn't a stable nearby for miles so they'd have to do some traveling we need to go take our flyer and hang on their door and say hey is your house haunted we'll come help you for free and there's one better apartment this is your apartment still got a little gray f-ed up looking thing running around guys I am not excited to sleep in this empty house that I have only ever slept in a couple times well do not play with Ouija board folks it's not good no it is not and I can't wait for that yeah that's something that we always tell people on our public investigations is we want to investigate what's already here you have no control over Ouija boards so best to leave them alone that being said I still own one but I don't use it I have it for nostalgic purposes I never use it I've had an incident and we can talk about another time but it involved just opening the lid to the Ouija board so heck well you know we'll talk about this time what are we gonna talk about this time slash lights and whiskey is junk drawer yeah no you can't still my car you know I was just hoping the whiskey barrel I just feel like oh I don't know it's like the whiskey barrel got a drink more you know if you want the whole barrel all right I gotta show up a little loaded but yeah I'm gonna talk about whiskey sure whiskey shots because it's short I meant to go to do one I like that I like that whiskey shots yeah people are gonna be shots at paranormal investigation all right listen we won't drink I won't drink with you we're just here just make shot glasses that same with each other so I want to buy flashlights why you asked I know I've talked about flashlights before and I've talked about like you know buying flashlights that aren't gonna blind people in the dark the importance of that and keeping your eyes good but I have these little guys for reference these little flashlights I call them dumb flashlights they there's just a battery in a light that's it there's no circuit board nothing it's just touch the contacts the light turns on little LED lights they're about the size of a 45 caliber bullet if any of you are familiar with that in a handgun but they're really small and we use flashlights a lot for communication and they seem to be honestly pretty effective I can't tell you if what's happening is the pressure changing in the room that allows a flashlight to turn on the temperature change obviously it's not a very severe temperature change most of the time in the general spectrum of the room but maybe they're able to change it to a certain point and that allows the metal to contract and make the contacts work or if they're actually just screwing it on and off I don't think it's that last one because I feel like we would notice but the reason I want to talk about it is ever since my house flooded we've had a bunch of events here and there it's been a busy month and I just I usually just have these in my pocket and I'll set them out and sometimes it works sometimes they don't and I just chuck them on my desk when I get in I don't really put them in a backpack or anything because they're just so small I'll lose them in the bottom I want to blow them on again they never turn on on my desk never and suddenly I'm not down in my office I'm here right now recording but I'm staying in another room upstairs tell everything to fix you guys can't see but everybody else on the podcast can there was just boxes of stuff around I can swivel my chair and that's about it but every time I would like leave and come back one of them would be on and I couldn't explain why and so finally I got to a point where I had to work from home for a couple days and I was just sitting here and I made a little video I actually said it to Moon and Christy and I was like look like I turned him off and right before I can even say turn it back on it turns on on the video so something's down here and that's these are like pennies these little flashlights so I just want to say like if you guys are out there trying to get in the paranormal stuff I will say it a million times over it's not expensive these are the little guys that you can use you can get them on Etsy or something five bucks for probably like 10 of them the cat balls are really cheap things like that so could make it started but I actually spooky part of that which might turn into a house called Whiskey's Place haven't bought any possessed objects yet but there is something down here that when I was I'm printing something for Raven's ITC device which will be a surprise soon enough I think it'll be cool we'll see that's gonna be different than what you expected but better because I plug in because there's a cute dots and I didn't know which one was ventilation I didn't know which one was speakers I want to make sure that I print the kind of holder for it that's not gonna block it then you're like oh and you really have no idea what it's trying to suck and plug it in turn it on and it's running for maybe five minutes and then just says fear me and a light turns on my desk right at the same time so it was it was interesting behind the scenes we're talking about it I mean he can't show up to go son or tell us and say fear me I'd be like why who are you what's your name I'm with you how long have you been here I've been here seven years yeah anyways can you have the lights for me if the light turns off right now in your room I would be like oh my gosh no the batteries have actually died with me sitting here so it can't turn on off the lights so I don't know what's interesting is I brought them to the market and for days after the market they didn't turn on I had no updates to give I usually would have to a day where I went down and showered rushed my teeth you know like they were on they were off nothing wrote you love notes on the mirror yeah no there's like some blood scrolling on the walls but it's not as exciting as the flashlight so we'll get to that another time but yeah hey you know it goes really well with equipment though no whiskey what some stuff at our website mr. dot com we got super natural ours swag people figure out to get some stickers designed by moon on there I don't know how we can do that but we have them at the farm markets and stuff we go through so make sure you come check them out at our events and everything check on youtube tick tock maybe if you guys are good you might go live up from the family tree I don't know if this is supposed to or not but find out we haven't had any investigation since we I cast last but we have one residential scheduled so we'll be able to talk about it for sure on our next podcast apparently we need to go to whiskey's house so maybe we'll be talking about that soon and then when we were at the market we actually talked to a lady who sounded like she had some pretty serious activity going on her I'm a little more serious than I think we've heard in a little she has her information hopefully she calls us so we for sure have two possibly three the next time we will say just off of the description she had which shot out for moon for hugging this lady because she was going through it telling us her story but a lot of times some of the more serious things that I've ran into are described by a person who uses the same kind of key phrases saying like I was afraid about how people would perceive me if I even acknowledged I goes for real and things like that and depending on the entity running to someone take that as a challenge yes so I really hope I know it'll take a little more courage to call us but I hope she calls and I hope we can go help her out and one thing just could be back in on that sentiment I've had people call several times that have stuttered and stammered and you can tell that they are just really nervous to tell me what's going on and I can't tell you how many times I have said stop take a big deep breath tell me what's going on I'll believe you because if you get to the point where you feel like you need to call real life Ghostbusters something is going on that's scaring you and whether it's your kids pranking you whether it's actual ghosts whether you watch a ghost hunting show and just noises and shadows are starting to freak you out whatever it may be if it's we'll believe you we'll call you know call us and we'll come out and try to figure out what it is they're calling in a situation where they're like hey can you come here personally it's like going on TikTok and do whatever they really like I need help he's come here so that's some people who really need help yep absolutely come to find out if they're significant other trying to get them out of the house there's something they can have their rendezvous there please and bring a dog that's specifically trained to smell horse hair now on our investigations I bring my dog but he is a horse yeah he's a big dog he's a big boy okay so for our junk drawer which is sponsored by the DSF Huey's Performing Arts and Cultural Events Center or as I call it the Huey's you guys ever scroll through reels on Facebook or TikTok because they're kind of one and the same for hours and they take all my time and we can't stop yeah like you're like I'm gonna watch one or two of them in an hour later you're like TikToks can be an hour long now and I almost watched the entire cars moving that somebody posted in two parts they can so I was scrolling through reels the other day because you know I'll be doing my homework it's like oh I need a five minute break I'll scroll through some reels you know five hours later it's like oh crap but this reel came up and I saved it and I'm like that is my jumper I'm just proud of you for saying that you needed a break because for me I'm just working and then the worms in my brain are like we need more TikTok and so I just before I know it I black out on my phone with my hand I was rolling TikTok okay yeah I have to get off the TikTok because one time it was like 3 a.m.

and I was in the hole and then suddenly I go oh my gosh I know that person he was a student of mine it was some famous TikToker and I was like you know what I'm on here too much it's in my life now I gotta get out I gotta get out so this particular reel started out like a meme because you see this lady sitting at her table and this looks like it was probably filmed in the mid-80s I'm just throwing this out here just the quality of the video and her dress and her style looks to me to be early to mid-80s and it says this lady's haunted toaster is the best thing on the internet have you guys seen this one? I have to see a haunted toaster so it's a lady named June O'Brien she's an American I don't think it says where she's from but she has a toaster and she's got some bread next to it and she says that this toaster would talk and when they asked what it said it says things like I am the devil okay and so you're thinking okay lady's got a haunted toaster but what is hilarious is they have her show a piece of the toast that she's toasted and it says it says Satan lives but to me it looks like someone has I think June O'Brien is lonely because it looks like someone poked her with her finger and then toasted it black um not saying it's a hoax but to me it looks a little hoaxish so then got a new idea for the supermarket now it can make our own personalized toast this is fear me you know I'm getting one with our logo on it so they ask her to they say well let's see this toaster in action so she puts a piece of toast in the toaster and then flame wait hold on hold on hold on okay don't you put bread in the toaster this is black as pitch I think she's putting toast in the toaster you know how to just got a steady way up there's her problem I think this ghost is just mad it's like first of all it's already so we do it she puts a piece of bread in the toaster and the toaster literally flames shoot out of it and it kind of jumps up and she flies back in her chair I honestly I think this is a bunch of BS but it's it was it's funny to watch I had to watch it about 10 times she makes a space as she pushes it down so go to tiktok type in haunted toaster best thing on the internet see if it comes up for you if you are a patreon I will actually post this in our patreon discord and you can see it from patreon discord that's pretty funny so if you're able to talk in toasters there is a movie called a little toaster that could and it might you know warm your heart compared to time are you talking to a little toaster? able toaster yeah it's the brave elitian see but the toaster is a pat toasters toaster toaster to for you and the fact is the toaster is the original bath bomb oh wow i cannot you know what my batman was coming on i thought there is going to be a dad yeah at least one yeah at least at least so you feel like you use your toasters bath bomb moon what do you got don't do that that's my advice so are you looking to improve your mental health i know lady that will help you lardong ccht is a clinical hypnotherapist that helps people just like you alleviate symptoms of anxiety depression and more so go check out her website at new don hypnotherapy.com and see what she can do for you okay in that moment i just want to say how weird it is that we talked about putting the toaster in the bath water and we talked about do you need help with your mental health just put in the house just put in the house just a weird transition the moon as the other all right guys it's moon tails with moon so there's an old wives tell i don't know if you have heard of this i haven't so it claims that seizures increased during a full moon and 2004 some researchers set out to see if there was any truth to this phenomenon and there was they were unable to find connection with that so five years later this lady named dr sally backson del found she didn't think the researchers did a very good job when they did the study and so she did her own study and she correlated that cloud coverage later role in the seizure business and so the seizures happened like regularly but it did increase the seizures if the people could see the moon if they couldn't see the moon due to cloud coverage or whatever they were a lot there was a lot less so the theory goes that the seizures are triggered by super luminosity of the full moon and that's your turn tell so the moon would affect the eye because you had the eye to blood in your head like what i don't know who could say i don't know i'm not a scientist so for my segment i switched it up and talking about hoaxes and things since oh that's literally an entire podcast of today but also we're going to be recording our patreon podcast so if you like that kind of vibe i'm gonna say go there and we're gonna talk about jeff the talking mongoose so that sounds intriguing i don't know what you so become a patreon member i'm really excited we're actually recording jeff talking mongoose next so yeah like mama said sign up to be patreon you can hear the whole episode that being said if you have listened to this entire podcast thank you we appreciate you but those that may have longed off early shame on them because if you're listening still you get the inside scoop on october um you also get the inside scoop on the entire season if you're patreon in your patreon newsletter um if you're listening to this and you are patreon your newsletter is late this fall season but i will get that out to you tomorrow or Friday um but we are going to be doing an october halloween special as you know if you've been listening to us um since we've started you know that every october we do the halloween special this halloween we're going to get really creepy we are going to talk about possessions all month so when we do our dead talks that's usually where we get the most questions especially if you're under the age of 18 for some reason they are fascinated with that but honestly most people i think have a love hate um relationship they love it but they're terrified of it so we're going to really jump in and talk about all the nuts and bolts of possession in the month of october so you can look forward to that or two less than four years that's in there's nine times for the while and if you are possessed you might be looking forward backward left and right all at once so i know if possession scares you don't let it it's very rare so we will talk about that more in october and chime in and give us a listen stay spooky my haunty friends hey have a good night bye talk to you guys later see y'all later swear me listening to the supernatural hour at advanced paranormal dot com the supernatural hour is part of the radio ronin network found at radioronin dot com copyright by advanced paranormal services
